The "afterparty" is rumored to be the real main event of the night. A black-tie affair in the lavish, opulent ballroom, it is every new Knight's chance to mingle and meet some of their new brothers in arms. Of course, a couple hours are provided following the ceremony for everyone to change, do hair and makeup, and choose from the vast array of formal attire in the closets of the balcony "dressing rooms" located at the top of spiraled staircases on either side of the ballroom. A separate dressing room exists for men and women, and they include full bathrooms (with, thankfully, very modern plumbing).

The squires are usually among the last to arrive, and the ballroom is full to the brim with a fancy array of people, of all shapes, sizes and species.

Hope you aren't shy. They're all here to meet you.

Feel free to make your own open threads for people to come congratulate your newly pledged knight.

ooc; also if your Knight wants to get all gussied up, you can make a Disguise (Cha) check for how good they were at hair/makeup/stylin', etc! This goes for... any time.

I reckon so, you're right. Without my memories, I'd definitely not be myself. Might not even be able to stand on two legs, depending on the kind of loss.

I should hope so. Not that my thoughts are worth all that much, but I'd still rather they belong to me and no one else.

They wouldn't be here if they had a tendency to use their powers for prying... unless you give them cause.

Luckily my thoughts are of so little interest that I hardly even pay attention to them myself. It doesn't make me a very wise man, I reckon, but at least it seems as if it would keep me safe from prying.

Your head might be a more interesting pick, I'd imagine. Perhaps it's a good thing I don't have this power, it seems as if I'd not be here then.

We're lucky indeed that Sir Ellison and Sir Harvey are very ... responsible with their abilities. The former comes from a line of Dragon's Claws, so she certainly was raised to respect boundaries.

Say, sir, do you happen to know whether it's possible to learn telepathy?

Is there a way to find out whether one might have?

Hypothetically.

From my understanding of it, it's extremely difficult to discover untapped potential before it begins to manifest itself.

Seems like I'll just have to go out of my way to find out if I have any. Not that I mind just being myself, of course, but I think a talent like this could enhance what I am greatly.
