[He did not know. However, he knows about hunting, obviously, and so he starts watching her over her shoulder, eyes following what's happening on the screen.]

I'd rather eat deer than human.

I would rather eat neither. [She turns back slightly, smiles, and turns back to her game.] Luckily I don't mind the fictional slaughter of anything so...

Really? Deer is quite pleasant, especially fresh.

[He grins and leans over to keep watching the game as well.]

But fictional slaughter is nothing to lose sleep over either way, I guess. Even for a vegetarian.

[Her nose wrinkles a little bit.] I've never gotten a taste for it, meat. I don't know why.

[Violence on the other hand... she was good at.]

I'm an omnivore myself, but I reckon I could live without meat if I was provided with enough chocolate.

I might be able to live on chocolate alone. [Thumbs up, Vi likes the cut of your jib, Reynard... whatever that means.]

[Because he has pockets, girl, and they mainly exist to hold chocolate. Sometimes knives.

What, seriously? [Seriously? Violet is in love. She's an easy sort of gal.] Yes please!

Seriously. The upside to slight kleptomaniac tendencies. [He feels down his own pockets and finally holds out a bar of chocolate to her, smiling as he broke off a piece for himself.]

Don't worry, though, nothing much other than sweet stuff holds that much appeal to me and actually fits into pockets.

[Oh lord a whole candy bar, Violet is planning their wedding. Her eyes literally light up as she takes it and snaps off a piece, popping it in her mouth.]

I love you a little bit right now.

[All conversation is momentarily lost. Oops.]

That's understandable, I'm very lovable. Anyway, isn't it said chocolate's an aphrodisiac?

[He speaks as he breaks another piece off to put into his mouth.]

Would explain so much.

So you're only lovable when you're plying people with chocolate then?

I'll say that I'm not sure about that, but better not to risk it.

[That makes Violet giggle, even as she takes another piece. Look, the likelihood of her saying no to chocolate is super rare.]
