It may prove difficult to meet directly with the foreman of the site, so we might need to find a way to make him more amenable to speaking with us.

It's called Deer Avenger and it's awesome and Violet is currently slaughtering puny, littering humans who are ruining the environment with their carnivorous, wasteful ways on her phone.

[ Meaning the book she's reading. He was a little hesitant to disturb since he himself can get rather prickly if someone tries to tear him away from his reading, but he deemed it a risk worth taking. ]

[Gasp. Melodrama party of one.] Only the best game. Ever.

[Snick snick snick, she flips through her phone to bring up the game and holds it so Belle can see it, before tapping the demo icon.] It's a puzzle, you need to rotate the blocks to get them to fit the right way and then when you fill up a row, it disappears. If you let the columns get to the top then you've lost.

I find myself wondering, good sir, if you ever do anything but read with your spare time.

[ she looks up and registers who it is with a little smile ] Oh, I have some other hobbies, don't worry. But I blame traveling to an entirely new world. I have a whole new dimension's worth of books to read, and there are so many things about this place to learn...

I reckon I just never found reading to be the best way to learn, myself. But different strokes.

[He crouches down so he's looking up at her instead of down, tilting his head to the side to read the book's title.]

What would you consider lucky, in this scenario? I reckon we could make our own luck, if we learn more of him fast and use it right.

That would be a bit of an understatement. I have a quite passionate affair with them. My wife used to say I'd leave her once I found the right book.

[ Robin has kicked off his shoes and pulled his legs up under him in a way that looks a little bit silly where he's perched in his seat with a thick book. It will keep him busy for most of the flight unless someone feels like talking to him. ]
