[He leans a bit closer, and waggles his eyebrows a few times.]

[ she smiles back oh so sweetly, reaches to the side, and then plunks a stack of papers in front of him the height of his torso. ] I know someone to file my research.

[Oh, I'll file her papers alright.]

What, just these? No problem - where do they get put away?

[lissatrinall]

[ she gets up, motioning to him to carry them (better make a strength check to lift em and a dex check not to drop em...), heading for the door. ] Follow me.

[Good thing my STR and DEX are both... well +1's ain't terrible I guess. STR: 4... straining noises. After a moment he gives it another heave @ STR: 15. Ok, we're up... Now... One foot in front of the other... DEX: 21. Lis'sa just puts a pep in his step, what can I say.]

[ she heads down the long corridor past the library ] Between missions and section head paperwork, I usually only have time to do the research. Not keep it organized.

Sounds like you could use an assistant

I'm not sure I'm cut out for tinkering and inventing, but I am a bit of a part-time treasure hunter slash researcher.

I'm not really certain where best I can leverage those skills.

Maybe you'll find you have a knack for it here. Things are a little different than in your old world.

Well... having seen them in action now, I think I could use some improvement in that area. For starters, I'd try to be less on fire, I'd imagine. Maybe bring some food and water next time as well.

[He smiles, though it's buried behind paper]

[ she pushes open the door into the research lab ] You haven't fallen prey to anymore spontaneous combustion since then, I hope.

[Following her in, eager to be rid of the mound of paper]

Not that I am acutely aware of, but you never know.

I hope that'd be the kind of thing you'd notice. [ she gestures to some filing cabinets on the wall ] Alright. Consider this your interview.

[thesleeper]

[He gently sets the papers down near the cabinet, and turns to face her.]

Alright... what'd you have in mind?

[lissatrinall]

Organize all of this. [ she gestures at the pile and the cabinets ]

[thesleeper]

Right. Not sure what I was expecting.

Oh! Uh... [He glances about the room] Are we... alone, in here?
