The "afterparty" is rumored to be the real main event of the night. A black-tie affair in the lavish, opulent ballroom, it is every new Knight's chance to mingle and meet some of their new brothers in arms. Of course, a couple hours are provided following the ceremony for everyone to change, do hair and makeup, and choose from the vast array of formal attire in the closets of the balcony "dressing rooms" located at the top of spiraled staircases on either side of the ballroom. A separate dressing room exists for men and women, and they include full bathrooms (with, thankfully, very modern plumbing).

The squires are usually among the last to arrive, and the ballroom is full to the brim with a fancy array of people, of all shapes, sizes and species.

Hope you aren't shy. They're all here to meet you.

Feel free to make your own open threads for people to come congratulate your newly pledged knight.

ooc; also if your Knight wants to get all gussied up, you can make a Disguise (Cha) check for how good they were at hair/makeup/stylin', etc! This goes for... any time.

[Lila is bored as hell, but that is basically how she spends 98% of her time and she enjoys parties (and free champagne), so... she isn't going to say no to a squiring party even if she doesn't give a shit about any of the new people. She looks hella gorg as per usual. And she turns 18 in three weeks so queue up now, boys, she's taking applications.]

[Faye is probably the most under-dressed person at this party but she can't be bothered to give a fuck. Despite still being kind of pissed at Lila for the stunt she pulled last time with Rose, she makes a point to swing by the blonde's general direction.

Look, that power is scary as hell and she wants to stay on the girl's good side. Or maybe see if she can learn how to do that...]

[Lila looks up from squinting at her drink and lazily shrugs in answer. Granted, it's true. She and Faye don't stick out so much anymore, which makes her wonder why Faye didn't seem like such a novelty before. Maybe because Lila didn't give a fuck until it was brought up.]

Maybe Wynn's got a thing for jailbait. Although. [She looks at the new squires with mild distaste.] He could have better taste. Downhill from us, I guess.

[Yep. This is one of the only times Lila will ever admit Faye doesn't suck entirely. Plus it doesn't help that the new batch of squires looks so annoying she wants to choke them on principle.] Except that one. [She points to the new boy and her mouth curves into a devious smile.] Care for another wager, Faye?
