The "afterparty" is rumored to be the real main event of the night. A black-tie affair in the lavish, opulent ballroom, it is every new Knight's chance to mingle and meet some of their new brothers in arms. Of course, a couple hours are provided following the ceremony for everyone to change, do hair and makeup, and choose from the vast array of formal attire in the closets of the balcony "dressing rooms" located at the top of spiraled staircases on either side of the ballroom. A separate dressing room exists for men and women, and they include full bathrooms (with, thankfully, very modern plumbing).

The squires are usually among the last to arrive, and the ballroom is full to the brim with a fancy array of people, of all shapes, sizes and species.

Hope you aren't shy. They're all here to meet you.

Feel free to make your own open threads for people to come congratulate your newly pledged knight.

ooc; also if your Knight wants to get all gussied up, you can make a Disguise (Cha) check for how good they were at hair/makeup/stylin', etc! This goes for... any time.

[Lissa jumps, startled, when Andie appears out of nowhere. It doesn't help that she is already nervous, her nerves skyrocket at the sudden appearence and out of habit she searches Rose out in the crowd to flash reassurance. Her head shakes, distracted, at Andie.]

No. [A beat.] Actually, I probably should, thank you. [So she takes one of the nibbles and takes a bite, chewing it fully before she speaks again.] I'm Lissa.

Andie! [She beams at Lissa.] You're new, right? I'm super super old, so if you have questions, I could totally help with that. [A beat.] Well not old as in ancient, obviously, I've just been a knight a long time and grew up with the knights and like, know stuff. Obviously. I don't look ancient. Though that's definitely not a guarantee since I'll probably still look like this in forty years.

[This adorable, effervescent babbling reminds Lissa of someone and she doesn't know who, but it strikes her as oddly familiar. And she doesn't hate it. She grins back, its hard not to, though it turns curious as Andie's words actually coalesce in her brain.]

Oh! Oh, that actually makes sense. [It still doesn't a little, she will need to put some study into Shadow World gods... but the explanation certainly illuminated more.]
