The "afterparty" is rumored to be the real main event of the night. A black-tie affair in the lavish, opulent ballroom, it is every new Knight's chance to mingle and meet some of their new brothers in arms. Of course, a couple hours are provided following the ceremony for everyone to change, do hair and makeup, and choose from the vast array of formal attire in the closets of the balcony "dressing rooms" located at the top of spiraled staircases on either side of the ballroom. A separate dressing room exists for men and women, and they include full bathrooms (with, thankfully, very modern plumbing).

The squires are usually among the last to arrive, and the ballroom is full to the brim with a fancy array of people, of all shapes, sizes and species.

Hope you aren't shy. They're all here to meet you.

Feel free to make your own open threads for people to come congratulate your newly pledged knight.

ooc; also if your Knight wants to get all gussied up, you can make a Disguise (Cha) check for how good they were at hair/makeup/stylin', etc! This goes for... any time.

[She has that effect. And considering it's Lila, who basically thrives in antagonism? He hasn't done much damage to the first impression. Once you've spent time with Cassel, a socially stunted monkey would have a decent first impression.]

Well you're obviously not headed towards the Dragon's Tongue. But it is your party. I think putting some effort into your appearance would be a sign of respect, though. You know, to your superiors? [She waves a hand in the general direction of where Wynn is being Wynn.] The ones who went out of their way to put this on for you so you can meet your fellow knights and squires under the auspices of alcohol and lowered inhibitions.

I didn't ask them to throw a party, and you know, I don't think I want to know what that guy's face looks like if he thinks you're looking fine this evening, so I'm pretty content with my choice of clothing, thanks.

She just doesn't touch the Wynn part because a. that's really gross, thanks, and b. she looks gorgeous, dwi.]
