WHO || Wynn, any and all Knights not currently on missions (if you are uncertain if your character would be at the castle for this, ask!)ooc; also if your Knight wants to get all gussied up, you can make a Disguise (Cha) check for how good they were at hair/makeup/stylin', etc! This goes for... any time.
WHAT || Squiring Ceremony Afterparty
WHERE || Knights Headquarters, the Ballroom
WHEN || July 1st, 2013, 6:00PM
HOW || Prose OR Actionspam
The "afterparty" is rumored to be the real main event of the night. A black-tie affair in the lavish, opulent ballroom, it is every new Knight's chance to mingle and meet some of their new brothers in arms. Of course, a couple hours are provided following the ceremony for everyone to change, do hair and makeup, and choose from the vast array of formal attire in the closets of the balcony "dressing rooms" located at the top of spiraled staircases on either side of the ballroom. A separate dressing room exists for men and women, and they include full bathrooms (with, thankfully, very modern plumbing).
The squires are usually among the last to arrive, and the ballroom is full to the brim with a fancy array of people, of all shapes, sizes and species.
Hope you aren't shy. They're all here to meet you.
Feel free to make your own open threads for people to come congratulate your newly pledged knight.

[and she is clearly very pleased with herself because of it.]

Don't suppose you'd mind driving us into town, then?
[Because someone still doesn't really get cars...]

I would love to.
[she takes his arm with a smile.]
Lead the way.

Basically if it's lower, then she's kinda reckless on this drive.]

Lead the way.

You're quite good at this. Ever handle another vessel? [Well that sounded wrong. Who knows how he meant it though....]
no subject
Motorcycles, sometimes. Cars are usually quieter though.

[her eyebrows go up as she glances to him, before the look settles into a bit of a smirk.]
I always did think bigger was better.

I love to walk.

Hope you have your sea legs, lass.

[no one said anything about a boat. Not normally her thing unless it's a cruise of some kind, but hey. She did say she wanted to see it.]
It's been a while bit I think I can manage.

After you, lass.

This is yours?

[She makes her way up onto the deck, inspecting every detail as she did.]
This is way better than one in any museum.

[He hops up after her and suddenly seems even more comfortable than he usually does.]
She's a beauty, my Alice.

[This is all very amusing for him. Thoster makes his way to the helm and puts a fond hand against the wood.]
Make yourself at home. She's been lonely while I've been away.

[as she talks she runs her fingers over the edge of the railings, taking in all the different pieces.]

[she then turns to face him with a grin.]
Planning on taking her on an adventure sometime soon?
