[ one of the perks of the knighthood is access to any of the vehicles in the garage that aren't people's private cars, etc. the public pool includes suvs, modern sedans, vans, limos, and several sleek sports cars - as well as a few motorcycles, and it's one of these that jaina solo spends long hours working on in the evenings: tearing it apart, putting it back together, in a grease stained tank top and jeans. it's possible that you might be alerted to her presence by some colorful, out-of-this-world cursing. ]

What I wouldn't give for a kriffing hydrospanner.

[Oh man, she really is the perfect woman isn't she. Because Miles here knows a thing or two about cars, and they might be the only thing he loves more than the ladies.

Suddenly, I really wish I knew what a hydrospanner was.

[Said as he squats down near her to get a look at what she's doing.]

[ she appears to be taking apart the engine block and making some major overhauls. she looks up at him, all exasperation at the project. ] The closest thing I've found here is a socket wrench, but it doesn't get nearly the same amount of torque.

Maybe I could help? [A beat.] Or maybe I'll just end up learning a thing or two.

If you know a lot about these cycles, you might have me beat: I'm used to speeders. That... hover. I'm not sure what to make of some of this primitive tech.

Seems that way. I don't remember most of them.

They do all blur together after a while. Or is this a veil thing?
