[ hope nobody wanted peace and quiet on the plane ride, because faith brought her GUITAR along, because it's even better than a tambourine. she's just sort of plucking away though, not playing more than snatches of things here or there. (perform 13) ]

Thoster hears the music before he sees who's playing, but when he realizes it, he can't help but break into a grin. He leans heavily against the back of the nearest seat]

Pity the rest didn't want to play our little game. You would have been quite the hit.

[ solace looks vaguely irritated by faith's playing, and sits apart from the others, reading out of a small prayerbook for most of the flight, except for when he's slumbering. ]

[After making a ruckus with Faith, Thoster starts to wander about the cabin again. He's just passing by Solace, when they catch a pocket of air and get jostled about. He catches himself from falling on the poor man (reflex 16) but still bumps into him a bit. Sorry about your nap time, bro.]

[ solace starts a bit, and then affixes a look of mild irritation on the bard, readjusting his posture slightly ] Don't have your air legs, yet, pirate?

Afraid I may never find them. [He laughs at his own issues.] Any tips you could offer a poor soul?

[Sydney is reading Shakespeare, because she is the biggest nerd. Hamlet, if you want to get specific. She seems distracted, though, glancing out the window from time to time. Feel free to bother her.]

[What's with all these people reading on this trip??? Thoster will be plenty happy to bother the young girl, as he's still not given up on her warming up to him (not in a creepy way. he just likes friends).]

[She looks up from her book, and it seems like it...takes her a moment to process words because books are engrossing okay.]

Ahhhh! [He says, as if that explains everything.] Well, no need to be nervous, lass. It doesn't seem like it'll be much to worry about. Not like my last one.

OTA - Phineas returns to the skies...

[Phineas spends the great majority of the flight in the restroom. He has left a lot of his research notes out on his tray table, though, and visits them occasionally - when his stomach permits.]

[Thoster still prefers to travel by land or sea, but after a few jaunts through the sky, he at least can hold this food down. He wanders by his bro's seat because he can't flirt with pretty girls all the time, right?]

How're you holding up, friend?

[Phineas slowly looks up from his notes - though it's not because they're particularly interesting - but because moving without feeling extremely ill takes a great deal of effort...]

I... was hoping this... whole air ship thing would go better with some ale in me. The knights need a new method of travel.

[He laughs through a sympathetic glance, shaking his head as he takes a nearby seat and pats Phineas on the shoulder.]

We'll start a petition upon our return for Wynn to start making use of more civilized means of travel. Unless you're one to get seasick as well?

[Lissa doesn't just sit down, she's not that ebullient and her nerves are making her agitated, but she stops next to Phineas' seat and taps it gently to get his attention.]

I wanted to apologize.

[Phineas stares up from his notes a bit dazedly.]

W...Wha? Why? [He shakes his head, and throws his hands up.] Don't lose any sleep on my account... We're good.
[Bluff of... 24. Phineas isn't being entirely disingenuous... but he's masking quite a bit of shock at someone actually apologizing to him.]

You, uh... excited for this mission?

[Well, apparently, Lissa completely believes him with her crit fail. Super belief. She tucks her hair behind her ear a bit nervously.]

Excited isn't the word for it. I've never been on one before, I think nervous is more appropriate.

[Lissa is also reading, some book about the mythology of vampires, occasionally flipping through her fake IDs because the name she picked, Alyssa (Lissa for short, of course) Ozera, is giving her such painful déjà vu. She is easily distracted though, so do that. And for the love of her delicate skin, do not open the shade on that window.]

[Thoster won't be opening any windows, but at some point on the trip, he does plop down beside the girl and cast her a smile. She wasn't so bad and she looked lonely (or so he assumed).]

Vampire 101. [She holds up the book as she closes it so he can see the cover, but it's clearly not that pressing to her and she smiles at him companionably.] Every other story conflicts though, so I doubt it's that useful.

[Thoster doesn't know much about vampires (bardic knowledge 11) so he just takes a seat near her and perches his chin in his palm.]

Well, tell me what you've found out so far. Never know what we might find on the mission. I should be prepared, hm?
