Stationed cameras are likely to focus on the loading dock itself, at least on the exterior. Which means our best entrance will be anywhere but - although those doors are likely to be monitored from inside, so we'll have to turn them off before we go in. [ he pushes his door open, and starts getting out. ]

[Faye doesn't have a quip this time. She's sort of uncomfortable, because this reminds her more of Nevada. She doesn't know anything about disarming cameras. All the little moments that made her feel like she was useful slip away and she glances between the two adults, silently waiting for some sort of direction.]

If I can find a fuse box, we might be able to take all of the power out. [ she looks to christos. ] Think that'd help or hurt in taking the guards out? [ because she's not worried about reading; they have cell phone light. ] I don't know if I could get just the alarms and cameras, it's probably all or nothing.

It would mean they'd be alerted to our likely presence, but it'd put me at an advantage - I can see in the dark, and it's unlikely they can.

Sounds like our best bet. We'll just have to be quick.

Well, they'd realize we were there sooner or later with you knocking out guards anyway, so as long as you can handle it .. [ she shrugs. she's not particularly worried about the mayor's people being aware that someone's onto them, as that's sort of the point. making an example of this shipping yard can only benefit them. ] So, we'll find the power source and kill it, you take down the guards, we'll search the place for a manifest. [ she starts to loop around towards the side of the building, trying to follow back power lines that run from the warehouse to figure out where the fuse box is at (spot 16). ]

Don't worry about my end of things. [ it's clear that if he thinks anything can't be handled, it's emma and the fusebox. she can see where it enters the building, and there's a high window nearby there. she'll need a boost up, which christos can provide. ]

Wouldn't dream of it. [Faye gives him a sickeningly sweet smile before turning to Emma.]

Yeah, over this way. [ she points toward the window, then looks to faye. ] What do you think? [ it doesn't even occur to her to ask christos. both because she knows faye and because faye is, in all likelihood, taller ....... ]

I was able to boost Felicity up to get a look inside. Don't see why we can't do the same thing again to get you in.

[ ARE YOU KIDDING ME, CHRISTOS. emma gives him an incredulous look, bordering on the offended, but mostly reflecting her steady realization of why everyone fucking hates him. it's not rocket science ok. ]

Yeah. I can trip a window latch. [ that's a disable device check for lockpicking right ... ]

[ that there is, DC 15 ] Wynn takes on squires as often for enthusiasm as he does for any marketable skills. [ so don't give him that sass. ] You never know.

Just make sure the guards are taken care of. We'll handle our part. [it's partly cocky and partly trying to just get things moving. She looks to Emma]

[ emma nods her agreement and makes her way over towards the warehouse. as stealthiness goes, she kind of fails, and doesn't bother quieting the thud of her footsteps (move silently 8 ...) ]

[Faye must have picked up at least a few things from Felicity because she's moving quieter than Boots McStompy over there (move silently 15).]

[ and a very put-out looking christos follows, although they might not even realize he is with his 35 move silently check. he's a fucking ghost. and prepares to boost emma up with a strength check of 19 ]

[ it's not until she turns to get a hand up that she spots christos following and startles a little. but she'll take the boost up and try to grip the edge of the window. she pulls a pocket knife from inside of her jacket and whips out the nail file attachment, jimmying it under the window and managing to switch the lock with a practiced ease (nat 20 disable device nailed it). then she peers inside to search out any nearby baddies and the fusebox itself (spot 20 total). ]

[ the coast is clear of guards inside the room, but the fusebox isn't visible inside this particular room. it looks like the run across the ceiling of the length of the storage room here and into the next room, so she'll have to drop down (another move silently), and sneak in there (hide check) ]

[ emma and grace are having a rough time today because her move silently check is a whole 9 this time (wow very improvement much dexterity), so she staggers a little as she slides into the room, heavy on her heels. as she makes her way across the room, however, she does a good job of staying out of sight (hide 15). ]

[ the next room is the vast majority of the warehouse itself, and there are tiny runner lights across the center of the ceiling all the way down, shedding enough to see the crates stacked across the floor. the fusebox is directly to her right, at least. ]

[ she flips open the fusebox and gets to work, tripping switches (disable device 18). ]

[ the lights flicker out one by one, leaving emma stranded in the darkness. with a listen check of 12+ she could hear sounds of surprise from further down the warehouse... while outside, christos sees the lights go out and immediately moves to the back door, unlocking it in seconds and slipping inside. ]

[Well... Bye Christos. Still in the alley, Faye will just hang out here, I guess???]

[ with a listen of 18, she hears the sounds of surprise from inside the warehouse, and as she exits the room, she realizes she doesn't hear faye. she doesn't really expect to hear christos, so she assumes he's got this shit under control ok. but faye she expects to have caught up with her when christos came in, so she moves to the back door and props it open, leaning out to wave her in. ]

Come on. We should split up, we'll find the manifests faster. Anything that might tell us where these containers are going.
