The murder the Knights are sent to investigate took place in an abandoned warehouse, near the largest highway in London. The aging and dilapidated structure is covered with graffiti and bits of rusting metal.

Squad cars and emergency vehicles have surrounded the building. Outside the main entrance, police officers are questioning a small crowd of people when the Knights arrive.

Fred parks the car, and looks across through the passenger window.

"Must be the place. Let's roll."

[ he chuckles at that ] This wouldn't really be my first choice of date locale. [ after another hundred feet or so, the tunnel comes to a crossing. the water is now waist-high, making it even more difficult to move through. other than the sounds of their sloshing, and the ever-present rush of water ahead, the tunnel is deathly silent.

well. for a moment. suddenly, the water around them erupts, and the heads of two dinosaurs appear, ready to attack. yaaaay. ]

...this is boring. [Yep, T-Diddle's just quietly wandering after them now theoretically she'll hear eating sounds if... the other guys get eaten.]

[ since he's already drawn, fred wheels on the dinosaur down the left hand tunnel, stabbing down into the water too quickly (13), as barney the dinosaur splashes aside. his next attack fares even worse (atk 11). ]

[I'm going to...assume it's my turn? lol dinos errywhere. I will also assume they're still close enough to hear that.]

[Faye tries to glance for any sign of the last one but... her spot of 10 leaves her mostly useless. Unfortunately, that glance must have thrown off her aim because she sure misses Barney (attack 13).]

[ actually they're about a hundred feet of tunnel down from miles :x so idk if he would have heard that, he'd need to make a listen check. i had thought he and astrid were staying behind for now. if they hear what's going on they can start moving that way tho!

yoshi lunges at faye from behind, raking at air (atk 12, 16 dmg), missing her with its foreclaw (atk 6), and then being so overeager that it slams its snout into a wall when it tries to bite at her, rendering itself... dazed as it falls into the water with a loud splash. (crit... fail :|)

t-diddle, wandering after them, would suddenly have dino burst out of the water at her down the tunnel a few feet from where faye & fred are struggling (atk 24, 11 dmg), raking her with its claws. ]

[Listen check 17, so all should be well. XD WHOOPS]

Holy shit! [astrid sees the surprise dino attack t-diddle (spot 25) like she was already over there, so she draws her gun. that her whole action since she doesn't have quick draw tho. WHOOPSIES.]

[T-Diddle lets out a shriek and backs the fuck up, drawing her gun because she's down to 3 hp and has like none and she would rather not die. SHE CAN FIGHT FROM A DISTANCE.]

[ wow team, we've caused zero damage to the dinos so far, let's turn that around. fred chops into barney brutally twice (atk 20, atk 24, dmg 29), blood spurting everywhere, sending supernatural-style blood splatters onto the wall. the dinosaur is only barely hanging on. hearing its friend's horrible screeching, dino wheels away from t-diddle to pounce at fred. its claws miss him, and it snaps beside his head as he dodges away. ] Whoa there, cheetah!
