The "afterparty" is rumored to be the real main event of the night. A black-tie affair in the lavish, opulent ballroom, it is every new Knight's chance to mingle and meet some of their new brothers in arms. Of course, a couple hours are provided following the ceremony for everyone to change, do hair and makeup, and choose from the vast array of formal attire in the closets of the balcony "dressing rooms" located at the top of spiraled staircases on either side of the ballroom. A separate dressing room exists for men and women, and they include full bathrooms (with, thankfully, very modern plumbing).

The squires are usually among the last to arrive, and the ballroom is full to the brim with a fancy array of people, of all shapes, sizes and species.

Hope you aren't shy. They're all here to meet you.

Feel free to make your own open threads for people to come congratulate your newly pledged knight.

ooc; also if your Knight wants to get all gussied up, you can make a Disguise (Cha) check for how good they were at hair/makeup/stylin', etc! This goes for... any time.

[Even though I literally just posted one of these up yesterday wtf. Apparently a little t&a booze and conversation was all Aedan needed to become a familiar face up in this bitch again.

He's actually taken the initiative to put himself together this time around too (Disguise 21). Not to say that he didn't appreciate the Tyra makeover treatments he was given the last time he came out to celebrate.

For the most part he's just lounging with a drink, people watching. As it turns out, it really wasn't as interesting as everyone says it is. Feel free to invite yourself over and join him.]

[Thoster looks pretty good (disguise 17) but not in the traditional way. He's still not very fond of this world's clothing, so he makes due with the clothes he arrived in. It's something of a decision to return to his roots. He needed to remind himself of who he was in order to forget what he lost.

Mostly, he's trolling for ass flirting and being excessively friendly. He's loud and laughing and all over the place at the party. You could run into him literally anywhere.]

[Nels Llendo is looking quite charming with a Disguise check of 20. He's wearing a rather extremely colorful outfit that looks a bit like this He's got a thing for bright and flashy, despite his apparent severity, and he couldn't resist this outfit.]

[It may also stand out that (At least his hand is visible in this suit) his right arm is some strange prosthetic that appears to be made from bits of metal, bone, and spider's silk.]

[So ... someone helped David dress (disguise check 16). It was probably Lissa. He's not completely perfect but he actually looks really hot.

Too bad he has no idea how to take advantage of that.

Regardless, David is doing his usual lurking in a corner with a drink thing and occasionally venturing out for food. Apparently looking good does not translate into social skills. Too bad.]

All the same, she's got a drink and is mingling. She hasn't decided who she's going to talk to quite yet, but she's keeping an eye out for familiar faces and will wander their way when she finds them.

Sitting (or standing) still has never really been one of her strong suits, but she can manage for a bit if you wish to speak with her.]

[No matter what happens, Brantley is always up for a party. And as usual, the flirt dresses charmingly like a celebrity (Disguise 18). But this time, rather than walking around from one place to another, he stays in one place, observing the festivities. He is not in the mingling mood, but if you bother him, he'll still probably flirt anyway.]
