Now officially Knighted, Vi exchanges her ceremonial armor for a wedding gown, and the guests head into London to gather at the Chelsea Physic Garden.  The evening is warm and clear, and the flowers in full bloom, chairs set up on the main lawn with name tags on them for people to find their seat.  Gentle Elvish music plays everyone in, and at the front of stands an arbor covered in wisteria.  It's a remarkably peaceful setting, enough to dispel further some of the grimness of the past few days and create an atmosphere of smiles and warmth.    It seems to reinforce what Luthir has been telling Vi all along: that maybe now more than ever, this is the sort of thing they need, in order to remember what they're all fighting for.

[ her grin widens in appreciation at his eagerness ] I'm not certain when my duties as best woman are no longer relevant, nor if slipping away in the middle of the reception might be in bad taste.

[ she still eyes the door longingly, lowering the volume of her voice ] Perhaps we could just sneak out for a bit and make our way back later to say our goodbyes? [ she turns back to him, brow arched suggestively ]

[ there's a slight skip in her step as she follows, as this seems excessively naughty, and is equally exhilarating. they barely manage to make it to the car before she's tearing at his clothes, her mouth moving mercilessly against his. as she pulls back to catch her breath, she mutters hotly against his skin: ] I do believe this may actually be a first for us.

[ wow his will save is shit so there goes her zipper :| ] Perhaps we can think of a few more along the way.

[ hahaha her will save is just as terrible, but her hands and mouth seem to know exactly what they're doing (dex 24), and she's making quick work of his zipper by this point, as well. however, the cool air against her bare skin reminds her that perhaps they should get in the car before this escalates any further.

locating the handle of the door blindly, and without slowing down her movements elsewhere, she unceremoniously yanks it open. she pulls back just slightly, her eyes devouring his features before locking with his, her own expression unabashedly lustful, and her words are husky and quite adamant (charm 64): ] Get in.

[ yes, ma'am. he backs her inside, across the seat, climbing in on top of her without breaking the kiss that follows up so quickly with her words. he can't help the giddy grin breaking across his features either, because HE FINALLY GOT HIS CAR SEX AHAHAH. i mean what ]

[ well hopefully she doesn't disappo-- ahahaha yeah, no. this may be her first time doing this, but she's all about making it an experience to remember - for both of them. plus all these wedding emotions, and 'i love you' ... and, yeah, this is some sex he won't soon forget (str 14, dex 22, fort 23, wis 20, cha ... nat 20, 69 total). at least it was worth the wait, val'drin. ]

[ apparently, his enthusiasm is showing, with his strength check of 19, jesus. but he needs that to make up for the fumbling that results from the awkward confines (dex... 6 lmfao). it's rather fast and furious for him (fort 16), but he makes it good for her (wis 15), and is relentlessly attractive about it (cha ... also 69 lmfaoooo i wonder what THEY'RE doing). ]

[ good lord. that would be some impressive maneuvering in such tight quarters. his enthusiasm was exactly what she was hoping for from this, and she's quite responsive to that crazy strength check of his. also, fast and furious works because wowza that's hot, and they don't have all night, anyway.

now she's breathless, and quite satisfied, although she's saved some strength for later tonight. she just wants to hold him close to her for a few more minutes, her fingers entwined in his hair. ] Gods, that was a fantastic suggestion, if I do say so myself.

[ his hand settles on her hip, fingers gently rubbing across the skin there. ] Is this the part where I try to steal credit for it?

[ she trails a hand down his neck to draw slow circles across his back ] Well, you're certainly responsible for stimulating my imagination.

Perhaps we should get out of here. Just leave, and not even return to the castle. Not yet, anyway. Do you ever entertain the idea of us just... running away? [ away from all this drama and temptation and regret ]

I'm not entirely sure where you were thinking of running away to, but I might be able to think of a few places.

[socialgraces]

I haven't given thought to anywhere in particular, but I mean to start a new life, somewhere new and exciting. I'm not certain you're ready for that level of commitment. [ it's a lighthearted jest, mostly in response to that whole garter incident earlier in the night. she kisses his shoulder, then the side of his neck, to affirm she's not retaining any hard feelings. ]

What's wrong with the old one, then? [ his fingers skid up the skin of her back, as he draws away a bit to look at her ]

[socialgraces]

[ she hums in approval at his fingers against her back, her eyes fluttering shut as she smiles lightly ] There's nothing wrong with it, I just like to believe there might be something more out there for me, for us.

[valdrin]

You always were a romantic.

[socialgraces]

I suppose some things never change. [ her smile widens a bit, though, and she eases her way up to sitting, without really pulling away ] Is that a 'no' to my offer, then?

Which one? To run off together?

[socialgraces]

I suppose it seems foolish to leave when we have everything we could need right here, readily at our disposal, doesn't it. Ridiculous and whimsical. [ she frowns, sounding a little disappointed at being able to rationalize herself out of the idea so easily. she never expected him to run with the idea, anyway. ] Best to stick with what I know.

You don't sound particularly convinced of that.

Well, it's certainly not the most exciting prospect for one's future, but that doesn't mean it's not the most honest.

I think most of the excitement we find in our lives is of the unfortunate variety. And you're wishing for more of it?

[socialgraces]

[ she chuckles a bit at that, slowly realizing the awkwardness of sitting in a car naked while having this conversation, and she starts digging around for some of her clothes ] Not more unfortunate excitement, no. I think I've had my fill as of late.

[valdrin]

I wasn't going to be the one to say it. [ he dangles some of her undergarments off a finger in front of her. ]
