Now officially Knighted, Vi exchanges her ceremonial armor for a wedding gown, and the guests head into London to gather at the Chelsea Physic Garden.  The evening is warm and clear, and the flowers in full bloom, chairs set up on the main lawn with name tags on them for people to find their seat.  Gentle Elvish music plays everyone in, and at the front of stands an arbor covered in wisteria.  It's a remarkably peaceful setting, enough to dispel further some of the grimness of the past few days and create an atmosphere of smiles and warmth.    It seems to reinforce what Luthir has been telling Vi all along: that maybe now more than ever, this is the sort of thing they need, in order to remember what they're all fighting for.

Why do you think I kissed her first? [ duh. but speaking of... ] So is he a good kisser? He's one of my best friend's like pseudo-brother so I can't ask Felicity because she'd hurl into a shrubbery but inquiring minds want to know. He's super cute.

Mhm. Super good. [he bops her on the nose with his finger.] Such a shame you'll have to miss out. Between being married and not having a dick ...

They sell those, I could make do. It is a pity though, I would make such a stellar gay man. [ she sighs dramatically like this is the worst thing. ]

You realize we're having this conversation at your wedding, right? Maybe this is some shit you ought to hash out with your husband.

Luthir knows me better than anyone, if you think he doesn't know about my gay inclinations, you would be wrong. Besides, we have spectacular sex. [ a beat. ] He's not incredibly loquacious. [he glances over to wherever the fuck luthir is, taking in this newly acquired information.] Fair enough. Enjoy your walking Herbal Essences commercial.

[ snort. ] I have some severe hair jealousy. But I finally figured out that obsession guys have with playing with a girl's hair when she's going down. [ #no filter. ]

It's like playing Barbie hairdresser. With orgasms. [ idk why you want to hang out with her, alex. honestly. ]

[he makes a face at her like really????] I can tell you now that's not what most guys are thinking about. It's just something nice to hold on to.

[ she was kidding! ...a tiny bit. no, she wasn't. she shifts one of her arms so she can push her fingers through his hair, gripping it lightly before she lets go. ] I guess that appeal makes sense.
