The "afterparty" is rumored to be the real main event of the night. A black-tie affair in the lavish, opulent ballroom, it is every new Knight's chance to mingle and meet some of their new brothers in arms. Of course, a couple hours are provided following the ceremony for everyone to change, do hair and makeup, and choose from the vast array of formal attire in the closets of the balcony "dressing rooms" located at the top of spiraled staircases on either side of the ballroom. A separate dressing room exists for men and women, and they include full bathrooms (with, thankfully, very modern plumbing).

The squires are usually among the last to arrive, and the ballroom is full to the brim with a fancy array of people, of all shapes, sizes and species.

Hope you aren't shy. They're all here to meet you.

Feel free to make your own open threads for people to come congratulate your newly pledged knight.

ooc; also if your Knight wants to get all gussied up, you can make a Disguise (Cha) check for how good they were at hair/makeup/stylin', etc! This goes for... any time.

[Obviously there isn't a need for introductions on her part since Lila easily got it right in one try, but lbr: first names > last names, so she gets that out of the way at least. She'll offer Lila her hand anyway, even though Lila might not be able to juggle a phone, cigarette and shaking a hand all at once. Or just maybe not give that many fucks, which is cool too.]

Thanks. [She'll just go with all three: congrats, welcome, whatever -- all are fitting. And yeah small talk is overrated tbh.] Dimitri Belikov. I think it must have been fun setting that up. [She's not complaining, just observing that it is a Russian team.]

Oh Dimitri is good, taste in women not withstanding, [ ...because it shouldn't be, lila. ] He speaks Russian, too. Our first mission was together. You lucked out if you like the strong silent type.

[Well at least she didn't say he sucks, so that's a good sign.] That bad of a taste? [Though to be fair, Natasha is fairly certain she probably doesn't have much room to talk.] I can work with that, yep -- guess I'll consider myself lucky in that case. How was your matchup?

Eric is a canoe of douches, but -- [ she shrugs. but she loves him like a big dumb brother. eric was good for lila, it just doesn't stop her from seeing him as a bitch. ] Better than Christos. [ judges him forever and ever and ever. ]
