after-party ♔ june

♬ Jeux d'eau - Ravel
WHO || Wynn, any and all Knights not currently on missions (if you are uncertain if your character would be at the castle for this, ask!)ooc; also if your Knight wants to get all gussied up, you can make a Disguise (Cha) check for how good they were at hair/makeup/stylin', etc! This goes for... any time.
WHAT || Squiring Ceremony Afterparty
WHERE || Knights Headquarters, the Ballroom
WHEN || June 1st, 2014, 6:00PM [backdated]
HOW || Prose OR Actionspam
The "afterparty" is rumored to be the real main event of the night. A black-tie affair in the lavish, opulent ballroom, it is every new Knight's chance to mingle and meet some of their new brothers in arms. Of course, a couple hours are provided following the ceremony for everyone to change, do hair and makeup, and choose from the vast array of formal attire in the closets of the balcony "dressing rooms" located at the top of spiraled staircases on either side of the ballroom. A separate dressing room exists for men and women, and they include full bathrooms (with, thankfully, very modern plumbing).
The squires are usually among the last to arrive, and the ballroom is full to the brim with a fancy array of people, of all shapes, sizes and species.
Hope you aren't shy. They're all here to meet you.
Feel free to make your own open threads for people to come congratulate your newly pledged knight.

I thought I'd been caught by KGB, or Stasi... or... whatever. Turns out, I was just here at the castle. Don't remember a damn thing before that, but [He takes yet another sip of his drink...] I think I was out drinking. Then, boom I wake up in an interrogation room. It was a weird time. [Leaving out the minor detail about shooting himself.]

Is that the one about how much better of a shave you get from a straight razor? Because... I'd been debating making Woodhouse learn how... before all of... this.

You think magic [He spits the word out derisively.] is a simpler solution than international spies doing... international... spy... things?

[welcome to the will graham experience tbh.]

Otherwise... [Archer scratches his chin, shrugs, and downs the rest of his drink.] Otherwise, magic, I guess.

Well, anyway... what were you doing for the feds, "Will or Graham?"

Uhm... I don't know. The looming in the corner, the former FBI thing, the fact that you... kind of remind me of an owl... Take your pick. [He grins, and scoops another drink up.]

[Archer eyes him as if it's the scholarly question of the decade, then takes a gulp of his drink, and swirls it.]
