The "afterparty" is rumored to be the real main event of the night. A black-tie affair in the lavish, opulent ballroom, it is every new Knight's chance to mingle and meet some of their new brothers in arms. Of course, a couple hours are provided following the ceremony for everyone to change, do hair and makeup, and choose from the vast array of formal attire in the closets of the balcony "dressing rooms" located at the top of spiraled staircases on either side of the ballroom. A separate dressing room exists for men and women, and they include full bathrooms (with, thankfully, very modern plumbing).

The squires are usually among the last to arrive, and the ballroom is full to the brim with a fancy array of people, of all shapes, sizes and species.

Hope you aren't shy. They're all here to meet you.

Feel free to make your own open threads for people to come congratulate your newly pledged knight.

ooc; also if your Knight wants to get all gussied up, you can make a Disguise (Cha) check for how good they were at hair/makeup/stylin', etc! This goes for... any time.

Don't say that, pal. You know what they say, after every storm comes a rainbow. But if you're really planning to do something entertaining tomorrow, call me before you do it, will ya? [He smiles widely, and no, he is not being sarcastic at all, he really is hoping that Stiles will put on a show or something. Well, you know, half-orcs have weird way of thinking. Maybe not all, but this one certainly has.]

[Nope! Still didn't catch that sarcasm. (wis 8)] Great! I can help if you want to make a video and upload it to YouTube. I can be your cameraman. Oh! I know how about we make a YouTube channel about the dumb things in the castle. But that would be a problem since we have all the secrecy, but maybe we can ask one of the computer wiz to set us a private version of the tube on the drakenet.

Yeah, all of these stuffs are cool. Just like a real life version of Knight Simulator. I can't wait for the real fighting to happen. Just leave the front row tanking to me, and I'll leave the back row support to you. [Max definitely doesn't think Stiles as a fighter, maybe some kind of gearhead or investigator.]

Brawny's the word you're looking pal, tough works too. [He corrects him.] Don't worry about it, pal. I won't steal your spotlight. If you want to be your own Batman, I'll leave you alone. But if Batman needs a guy to break a door or two, just call Max, and he'll break a door or two. Alright, batman? [Yeah, they're partners in... justice? whether Stiles like it or not.]
