The first twenty-four hours of searching yielded no results, in the hunt for Elena and the escaped doppelganger Kyp.  Most consider it not worth keeping up the search when both of them are capable of vanishing into literally any crowd, but Wynn isn't so quick to give up.  To that end, he's hired monster hunter Dean Winchester to work with a special team in trying to track them down.  A few other Knights familiar with Elena are invited along to the mini briefing, where Wynn and Dean already wait.

the hotel clerk hesitates but finally says: "Look, I want to help you, you just have to tell me what you want here, and I'll do what I can. We really can't bother every customer." ]

[Assuming that Archer is keeping an eye out for movement which is probably a bad life choice Rose starts rifling through the glove compartment and other areas of the car (Search 18).]

If you can show us the list of names for who checked in within the time frame they likely arrived, perhaps we can sort out what name they might have used. [damon, shh. the grown ups are talking.] Would that be acceptable?

[ as the desk clerk turns to print out said list, dean and rose rifle through the interior of the car. the search is disappointing and it's pretty clear right away that it's going to be. dean doesn't do much more than glance under the seats, etc, while rose takes a more thorough route, checking between the seats, in the back, etc.

everything they find indicates that the car belonged to someone else, and rose's check is high enough to make sure she realizes that everything in there wasn't left by kyp or elena. dean slams the door shut in annoyance, turning to look towards the building.

And the others? Are any of them still checked in?

[ Their picture was taken together looking like themselves when they checked in. Wasn't it? Or... was it just a traffic camera. Because his 1 INT check means he's completely fucking forgotten if that happened. And there are zero mental notes here. ]

[Helen nods, looking at the names again. Only one pair among them, but perhaps Kyp is smarter than they think.]

I know it isn't orthodox, but if we could speak to them, perhaps we could find her- or at least some idea if anyone else here has seen her. Would it be alright if we had those room numbers?

[ "I'll write 'em down but no promises that they're in their rooms right now." he obliges and pushes the list over. ]

[Rose lingers in the car a moment longer, letting out a frustrated huff before pulling out and all but slamming the door shut.]

They're not going to be here are they. [Rhetorical much.] They'll have ditched this car and moved on before we even got here. That's what I would have done.

Coming back out to the parking lot, she holds out the list for Dean and Rose.]

The names and room numbers of guests who arrived roughly when Elena and Kyp would have checked in. These are the only ones still checked in. There was another couple who checked out already- room 113. They were registered under the same last name. Kyp seems obsessed with Elena. I thought it might be some sick game of house, playing the married couple.

Rose scans the list that Helen passes over, eyes darkening but nodding along in agreement.]

He's the one who checked them in so I wouldn't be surprised.

[ dean cuts rose a scathing look but they're interrupted, so he waits until that's all to reply. ] Did you get a list of who checked out recently? Odds are, they're already gone, but there might be a clue in their room worth seeing. And what I was tryin' to tell Rose here, is that if they are gone, they obviously left this ride, so somebody's gonna be freaking out about their car missing, which gets us a description of what we're looking for.
