[ It seems that Wynn was hoping for Sir Mark Sandazhard to reveal his true identity, and to lead the charge against Dimitris Sarandis' tyrannical hold over the island he was born to rule.   He was not disappointed, and Prince Marcus Andres stands poised to lead the group of Knights who he's worked beside for two years, to confront Sarandis, save their friend Kat, and search the castle dungeon for the captive Dragon's Claw, Sir Thomas Bancroft.    

Before they attempt to answer the castle, however, it's time to reunite the Prince with his childhood friends on the Isle, who had long held out hope that he was still alive, including his once-betrothed, Countess Lara Tamon.  Their first task will be to convince Lara to make a risky attempt to draw Kat out of the castle.  

The fate of their captured allies, and the future of Andres Isle, lie in their hands.  ]

Except it's not remotely judgmental. In fact, she looks like she has all the faith in the world in his abilities to do this: to come up with a plan that will work for them. ]

[ he looks between them all, and his eyes involuntarily dart to gar, as if he's worried about offending her by making a decision for the team now, but she just gives him a little smile, and he takes a deep breath, exhaling it and saying: ] We can't waste time just hoping that we're going to run into one of them, and we don't want to interfere with what the other teams are up to. It's late, and unlikely that Dimitris has soldiers patrolling the upscale neighborhoods - I doubt we need to worry about anyone being recognized and talked about by the nobles except for Finnick and well... Me. I'm sure Lara will play along with Myri being a friend if she shows up at the door, and help make it seem less suspicious. We just need an excuse for why she's coming to see her so late, something that isn't going to invite her parents in on the conversation. Maybe if she showed up crying, it would seem like she needed to talk to a friend about something private, and make sense for them to leave to do it.

[Wow, Mark. That was a... surprisingly solid plan. Des is impressed.]

Look at that. Long live the king. [He grins and slaps Mark on the shoulder.]

[finnick is ok with this plan. so he just nods and gives myri reassurances.] You'll do great.

[NO PRESSURE GUYS. Myri nods, looking only...slightly nervous.]

I suppose I should go change.

[This Knights armor sure wont sell her story. So she will just go take some time to get out of her armor (in private on the plane. I feel like i need to specify here). She made need help. Idk anything about armor. Finnick come help your fiancé out of her clothes. You're an expert at this by now.]

[ while they're waiting, mark looks out over the island, the sight obviously emotional for him. after a couple minutes, however, he looks to spike, and says hesitantly: ] How, uh...

How did she seem? Lara, I mean.

[Des exchanges a look with every other present member of failboat, like he's wondering if anyone is gonna point out the ENGAGED ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM.]

Uh, ok, I suppose. Bit angst-ridden, but I suppose that's to be expected.

[And here walks myri in normal clothes. Which are probably like workout clothes. What the fuck else do you wear under armor? Whatever. Either way, she walks up right as Buffy starts to speak, but doesn't really piece it all together as to what they're talking about (wis 12).]

[Des grimaces and rubs the back of his neck, turning to Mark.] Look, you should know beforehand that Sarandis set the whole thing up, mostly. It's not like she wants this. [(wis 17 to remember that... Lara and Michael looked hella uncomfortable at the party)]

Wanted what? [ mark picks up that there is SOMETHING Y'ALL AREN'T TELLING HIM AT LEAST ]

[ his eyebrows shoot up for a second... but then he mostly looks around at them all a little chagrined ] So you, uh. Heard about that part, huh. [ the whole betrothed prince thing. ]

No, Mark, we assumed the hottest dame on the island had your name on her.

Sarandis announced it at the party, surprised both of them. Lara and Michael. It's... uncomfortable, but at least he seems trustworthy to not take advantage of the situation. But the others are right... It's best that you know before we bring her here. With everything going on, that's the last surprise you need.

Lara and Michael? [ he looks thrown off, but definitely not... mad. ] That's-- huh.

Huh? That's it? That's your reaction.

[Look, the last time he was present for someone learning their alleged true love wasn't what they expected, it was ugly. Maybe he should stop hanging out with Rafael.]

[And that will earn Des a look. Like really??? Can we muster up some tact just this once???]

I think that's how they feel about it as well, honestly. But perhaps you could ask her yourself.

[Before Myri gets too nervous to do the dang thing.]

A lot's probably changed since I was there. When we were kids, the four of us were always picking on her. She felt more like a sister than my future wife. I can't say we really... got along all that great. I'm surprised to hear she held onto hoping I'd come back so long, really.

Why? You're such a catch. [He pats Mark's shoulder to try and take the edge off his sarcasm a bit and then looks at Myri.]

Let's get the lady of the hour in on the mission, then.

[Myri just nods and... tries to look more comfortable than she is. She's not the best liar. But she's going to cross her fingers and hope on his one.]
