[ Having spent months scrying on areas of the Island scouted out by Sir Bancroft and Sir Chessing, Hasmed is able to send a few groups to the Island via greater teleport spells, with a fairly small margin for error, as to where they're going to land. The Shadowkind prison teams land flawlessly, and the very big group appears in a clearing in the middle of the woods, abruptly finding themselves surrounded by trees and mostly darkness. The moon is in its last quarter, and with the trees so thick above them, there are only patches of light that filter down here and there. Those with darkvision or lowlight vision can see perfectly, but anyone with normal vision may find themselves squinting to see much of anything.

The teleport spell only works if the entire group is physically connected, so when they arrive, Wolverine yanks his hand off Nathan's shoulder, and gives Drax a Look like stop touching me if you value your hand. Eric runs his Drakenet app to determine their location, then announces: "Dead on." In other words, no spell mishap sending them miles off target. Beside them all, Lan's mount, Daisy, stamps her feet slightly, obviously unnerved by the magic. He whispers "Whoa, there" and reins her in, causing her to settle. ]

[First Jamie just charges out of nowhere which annoys her because SHE HAD THIS and then she gets shot which really only doubles that annoyance. She snarls a bit at the hit before turning back and slashing at Red with both hands (attack 26, damage 9 & attack 27, damage 10).]

blue tries to break away from klaus (22 opposed grapple), probably unsuccessfully. green takes a crack shot at gus (atk 28; dmg 10). ]

[Another nat 20 says Klaus ain't letting that bitch go anytime soon (damage 11, if the grapple continues to inflict damage idfk tho). Meanwhile, unless blue drops dead Klaus will continue to drain a bitch so enjoy that 2d6 constitution damage (which totals 7 if I roll for that, but again I have no idea because this is my maiden voyage re: combat with Klaus).

Otherwise, if blue goes unconscious or dies or something Klaus will just use his move action to beeline it toward orange who was dumb enough to nab his attention by fucking shooting him up in the middle of dinner. Rude.]

I'd be careful who I fired that thing at, if I were you.

[ She turns her blade towards Green as Purple slips away from her (which I think she should have gotten an attack of opportunity against Purple for, since she successfully charged and then he moved out of her threatened space? If so: atk 25, dmg 6).

Rather than draw closer, she raises the fire in her offhand and hurls another charge of her produce flame spell at Green (touch atk 20 total, no saving throw, 7 fire damage). That's what you get for fucking with Gus. ]

[ klaus' bone cracking grip is enough to drop blue unconscious, so he starts running for orange, while alanna's flame scorches green. pink ducks out to shoot at eric again but misses. ]

[Dimitri dodges out of the way of the bullet shot at him just in time, and he's still on top of green so he'll slash out with his stake at him again (atk 28 crit, dmg 26).]

[Jaime steps up next to Cora and swings his sword down on the guy's head (atk 23, dmg 13) but his follow up attack is sloppier, and doesn't manage to connect (atk 7).]

[ dimitri's stake burrows a bloody gash into green's side, while jaime sends a spray of red from... red. they're both still alive, but barely. purple shoots at dimitri again, but his hands are shaking now (atk 9), as he watches the tide turn quickly. ]

[ mellie is just gonna keep mauling black. (claw atk 28 & 25, dmg 14 & 16; bite atk 8)

meanwhile, gus shoots a bolt of electricity at purple (concentrate 25, atk 19, dmg 5) before backing up to run toward eric and take a heroic surge to shoot another bolt at pink and back up his boo. hey eric hey. i mean what. (concentrate 23, atk 23, dmg 10) ]

[ black is left a smear of paste on the grass, talk about overkill. purple gets electrocuted, but still manages to stand. red decides to try to book it, making a full retreat away from jaime and cora. ]

[Weighing her options, Jaime's more likely to catch Red on the horse, and after listening to Mellie tearing people apart, she decides to break into a run and head back towards the rest of the group. This is going to take up her whole turn so, carry on. She's heading towards the Smear Formerly Known as Black and Not Dead Purple.]

[ green reels back five feet, shooting at dimitri (atk nat 20!! dmg 18) ]

[Klaus attempts to grab orange the same way he did with blue (attack: 36, damage: 12 if the grapple succeeds). He's still rocking those fangs and black/gold eyes, but he doesn't bite him yet because he's kind of a sadistic fuck and wants to take a moment to enjoy the fear in this one's eyes first yolo.]

[ Alanna turns and jabs at green with her sword, which is an appropriate choice since she ALSO NAT 20'S (27 total). Her sword drives her sword straight through him (18 penetration damage). On the other hand, she isn't here for blind murder. So she tries to call out to the guard: ] Lay down your weapons and surrender! [ but you can't roll diplomacy when you're actively threatening people oh well. ]

[ well, there's fear alright. drink it in, klaus. especially because he crit failed and starts begging for his life. "P-please... please don't!"

meanwhile alanna killed a guy. with a trident. looks like blind murder to me.

pink takes another shot at eric, but again, sucks at shooting out from behind a tree i guess. go team.

purple, at least, looks ready to take alanna's suggestion, maybe... ]

[Seeing as the poor guy is one of the only poor saps left, Dimitri races towards purple and attempts to grapple him into submission, hoping for surrender instead of having to kill again (atk 22).]

[ orange can't even struggle, he's too terrified. eric takes another pair of shots at pink - the first strikes the tree again, but the second is a nat 20 (18 dmg), downing them finally. ]

[Running away's pretty different from retreating, right? Right. Jaime charges Red but misses (atk 16) maybe because Alanna's words have roused ~moral compunctions~ in him. Jk he just.... didn't do a good attack. But the Alanna thing gets to him enough at least that as his sword swings past Red's head, he says in an almost bored tone of voice.]

I can't let you escape, but I suppose if you surrendered I'll let you live.

[It's pretty clear that he's just as okay with chasing Red down and murdering the crap out of him.]

[ purple drops his weapon and puts his hands up. ]

[ mellie was about to go eat purple's face off once dimitri got him pinned, but gus whirls at the sound of surrender and barks out a quick burst of rapid fire korean. the bear stops in her tracks and roars at purple, scuffing one of her huge paws on the ground. if he goes for his weapons again she will pounce on him in a heartbeat, but gus' orders have her holding back at the moment.

gus looks between the rest of his teammates, taking stock of the their downed foes. only orange and purple remain and they're both quaking in their boots as he also holds his action -- and last bolt -- until someone decides surrender was just a joke. (he don' curr about red, tbqh.) ]

Alright, that's enough. Tie 'em the fuck up. We can't risk them heading back or interrupting the rest of this fucking shit storm.

[ uh red is still fucking running for it b/c JAIME IS CHASING HIM WITH A SWORD. so another full retreat over here, despite his promises of letting him live. ]

[Cora just stops right where she is, still shifted. She's not convinced it's over yet, so she's just going to stay a little wolf girl and look around for any sign or sound of something else coming their way (spot 19, listen 13). So held action? I guess? IDK.]

Klaus does not look pleased to hear the call to stand down, but he eases his grip on orange to keep from causing any further damage as his face reverts to normal (will/concentration: 25). At least the immediate threat of Klaus nomming this guy's throat is gone for now, but he's not letting the bitch run free even if he's holding his attack.]

not the best showing, but pretty good. alanna has to take it where she can get it. sheathing her blade, she pulls zipties from her bag. rope of the 21st century. she goes for purple first, since he's nearest, and tries to ziptie his hands behind his willing back. ]
