Unlike the grandiose nature of the squiring ceremony each Knight undergoes upon their initial entrance into the Knighthood, the graduation to Full Knight status takes place in a much more intimate affair, between the Knight, their mentor, invited friends, and the members of the sect to which they will be inducted. There's no pompous music, no stolid rank and file, no elaborate march.

The Knight's new section head, Wynn, and their mentor Knight wait up at the front of the room for their approach, but the attitude of the ceremony is much more relaxed, full of smiles and light conversation on all sides. Of course, when Wynn speaks, people still hush. It's just how he rolls.

To a point. My dad mentored me. [ mostly because he was grooming her to take over and rule the world and trample her enemies beneath her heels. :) she can do that. she would be good at that since she knows her rule won't last long. ]

There doesn't seem to be a sect for returning paintings you steal when you're bored. Dragon's I immediately regret and apologize for this decision, but you guys seriously need to work on your security. Doesn't exactly roll off the tongue.

Well, more the no relationships of any kind including familial clause. I wanted to be a nun for a while, I can handle celibacy, that's what vibrators are for. But I'm not fond of being alone, so that would be crap.

[Wow. This is totally fancy and not like the Hide at all. It's a good thing he continues to let Lissa dress him (disguise 20 total). He's getting to the point where he recognizes what she'll approve of and what she won't so he can (somewhat) do it on his own, but that doesn't always stack up in his favor. He's dumb about fashion, always.

That being said, it's Stiles's knighting, and he's trying to make a good impression. He makes his way over once the party starts and places a hand on his shoulder gently.]

[David's still managed to clean up well for this party too (disguise 15), though he's slightly more dressed down because ... it's a Hide party. They're probably all going to end up drunk anyway, and then it won't really matter the state of their clothes.

Right now, however, he's currently distracted by the kid with a lemur at the food table, and it takes him all of two seconds before he asks:]

[Not incredulous, mind you. He's fairly certain he's seen weirder things. But still ... odd.]

[Felicity looks fabulous, as per usual, but not as fabulous as Lila, because she is a good date and not about to upstage the guest of honor (disguise 27). Lila would kill her if she tried. This is basically as good as she can look without a nat 20 to help her out, so enjoy, rest of the party.

But right right now she's taking her drink and scanning the room, prepared to be an excellent date, but she needs a little intel first as aside from Stiles, Lila and Elena she doesn't actually ... know anyone in Dragon's Tongue.]

[Felicity is also on a mission to make acquaintances with everyone in the room, even if this is not her sect. It's a lot of people she doesn't know so she's going to try and to at least get names and faces for everyone she can.
