Between the various members of the wedding party, everything comes together just in time for the big event. Within a few weeks' time, the day has finally arrived. Whether they've met or spoken to the bride and groom, the entire isle of Andres is invited to this event. Cool colors are prominent throughout the ceremony set up on the Andres coast. From the bridesmaids dresses to the flower arrangements to the beautiful blue sky and sea, it's a very calming atmosphere.

Once the ceremony is finished, everyone is invited to the reception, held at the Andres palace. There's food, drink, and music. Tables are available, but with such an open guest list, there's no assigned seating- other than the main table up front where the wedding party and their guests will sit last supper style.

Yeah well, it's good to have a reason to as well. [And while Dean is very much a part of that for her, she does also mean today.] It was a nice thing you guys did, letting half of Andres come to your wedding. Did that make it more or less scary? [Somebody explain to Rose that not everyone is scared of getting married.]

I made sure it's what she wanted, but she doesn't need to do things like this for my benefit.

[She glances around the room, taking another sip of her drink.]

Showing up to a squiring party is one thing, but this? No one needs to be judging her. Especially not today.

Everyone knows Myri's compassionate to a fault. If anything, her forgiving you and wanting you and loving you should be an indication for the rest of the damn place to get off your back.

[Myri has more reason to be mad at Elena than anyone, except Spike, after all.] And if they're judging her, I know a few places in this palace where no one will notice if I smack them with something heavy.

I thought it would be nice for everyone to have something more pleasant to remember Andres for. Not just me. [But yes- it wa also for her.]

I see you didn't bring a date this time.

Zarad's busy in Manhattan. He promises to send a wedding gift, though. [Flippantly. He's accustomed to his long-distance relationship, and sure it would be nice to have him here, but them's the breaks.]

Well, let him know he's greatly missed. [She just wants to see all her babies happy and in love with their sweeties okay.]

How have you been? I haven't seen you much with all the planning going on.

[Weddings are work, yo.]

Scary? [She's genuinely confused.] I had some hesitations before... [Namely after Luthir died, because Myri had this terrible fear of that happening to Finnick] But this felt right. All of it- including the open invitation.

[nothingsodivine]

I'll do that. [His expression falters a bit at the next question.]

I went back to London to see what I could dig up on where we go from here. [He doesn't want to spoil her wedding by mentioning half that digging recently has become "where in the world is Rafael Sandeigo, because he's ignoring us."] Figured I'd be of better use doing that than trying to rebuild Andres.

[Myri knows that she's put Elena in a comolicated position, but she stands by her decision and still thinks it was the best choice she could have made.]

You look beautiful, you know.

[witchwoman]

[Maybe talk of work is better suited for another day, but a spot of 24 sees that shift in his expression and she draws her brows together, slightly concerned.]

Oh? What were you able to find?

Or it's an indication that she'll forgive literally anyone.

[Which might also be true. Elena never really asked for forgiveness, didn't expect it. But if anyone was going to give it to her, she would have guessed Myri, whether she deserved it or not.]

Oh, no worries there. They have me to be afraid of, too. Everyone knows that I could ruin lives if I really wanted to.

[She leans in, gives her a kiss on the cheek.]

She won't forgive Sarandis. Or Dumage, probably.

[Myri has gotten a lot darker since the days of old- she's not just sweet, sensible Myri.]

Then I guess there's nothing to worry about, huh? [He pokes her in the shoulder.] No judging Myri or risk doppelwrath.

You really wanna talk work at your wedding? [deflection~] We've dedicated three years of our lives to this case and you've dedicated most of that three years to being madly in love with Finnick. I, for one, am all for letting the latter eclipse the former for once.

I'm just telling you what they might think. But given the right circumstances? I think she'd forgive the latter.

[She hasn't seen this darkness like everyone else has. Not as much, anyway.]

Damn right. Would you mess with me?

[She raises an eyebrow at him.]

Maybe. Dumage would have to pull one hell of a selfless act out of her ass. [Des is indifferent to Dumage at this stage of the game. He can't judge her and he can't hate her for making a call Elena also made, but he's also massively unsure of her. She's a true blue con, that one.

He meets her arched eyebrow with a scrutinizing one.] Oh no, I wouldn't dare. [Sound a little more insincere, Des. Teasing~]

Um, ya know the whole... getting married... Being married thing? [She'd never even considered a life where she even could be married pre coming here.] Like if it were me? I'm pretty sure I'd be trying not to throw up five minutes before walking down the aisle. You? I don't know you just look really happy.

[ vi sees no reason to change out of her bridesmaid dress because it's so pretty and she is so lazy. for the most part she is her typical social butterfly self, flitting around her friends cheerfully, meeting new people with the same cheer, inhaling entire pieces of cakes possibly without breathing, playing fluster the date with dana, which she is almost guaranteed to win because it's hard to fluster vi.

once she disappears with only a brief word to finnick and dana because she knows the tendency to worry but she returns an hour or so later with red rimmed eyes and a splotchy face. she's fine, shut up about it. ]

[ she'd sat in the back during the wedding, big floppy hat and huge sunglasses keeping most of the sun off her face, ten gallons of sunscreen trying to protect her delicate skin. but myri has always been sweet to her -- dragon's light solidarity -- and lissa is a sucker for romance, she wasn't going to miss it.

once in the palace, the hat and sunglasses are abandoned. lissa does, however, keep close to her boyfriend because why wouldn't she? gonna make him dance so many slow dances. she feels slightly awkward but between a brief over the phone pep talk with sweets, faye and max's nearby proximity, and, thankfully, an anti-depressant that she and sweets and a medical doctor sorted out, she feels solid in her decision to attend the party. her magic is squashed, but that's something she can deal with later.

[Grinning, she bounces on the balls of her feet a little.]

It still doesn't feel real. I keep expecting to wake up any minute.

[ abigail, looking pretty as a picture, dark hair fluttering over her shoulders in glossy curls, has a rare, carefree smile on her face. it might have something to do with the fine looking guy she has standing next to her. we just don't know. stiles is out shining his date in the looks department (disguise 28), but this is why he is in the dragon's tongue and she is not.

odds are on stiles dragging abigail around the party, showing off his sick dance moves™, and being a generally adorable combination of cute teenagers with access to free champagne. it's not hard to catch them apart, but it's just as easy to catch them together. any combination. whatever frosts your cupcake. ]

Alright, you make a fine point. [She's okay with this deflection.]

But don't think I won't ask you another day. [probably not tomorrow. She will probably be having copious amounts of marital relations tbh.]

That's because I am really happy. I've wanted this for... Well, my whole life I think. The Stargods back home lead me here, lead me to the Knights, lead me to Finnick. I've always wanted a home and with him? I am home.

It's only the case that consumes our entire lives. I think we've had enough secrets about it.
