Between the various members of the wedding party, everything comes together just in time for the big event. Within a few weeks' time, the day has finally arrived. Whether they've met or spoken to the bride and groom, the entire isle of Andres is invited to this event. Cool colors are prominent throughout the ceremony set up on the Andres coast. From the bridesmaids dresses to the flower arrangements to the beautiful blue sky and sea, it's a very calming atmosphere.

Once the ceremony is finished, everyone is invited to the reception, held at the Andres palace. There's food, drink, and music. Tables are available, but with such an open guest list, there's no assigned seating- other than the main table up front where the wedding party and their guests will sit last supper style.

[ vi sees no reason to change out of her bridesmaid dress because it's so pretty and she is so lazy. for the most part she is her typical social butterfly self, flitting around her friends cheerfully, meeting new people with the same cheer, inhaling entire pieces of cakes possibly without breathing, playing fluster the date with dana, which she is almost guaranteed to win because it's hard to fluster vi.

once she disappears with only a brief word to finnick and dana because she knows the tendency to worry but she returns an hour or so later with red rimmed eyes and a splotchy face. she's fine, shut up about it. ]

[Uh, no Stiles won't shut up. Splotchy face is not okay. Starting over towards Vi, he's all smiles until he sees that. Immediately, he gets all concerned face and crosses the distance more quickly.]

Hey. [He reaches out for her arm.] What's up?

Hey Stiles. [ letting him grab her arm, she gracefully steers them over toward a corner, one not full of people. ]

I'm fine.

Uh, negative. [He's not going to buy that no matter what. YOU WERE CRYING. WHAT HAPPEN.] Wanna take a walk outside or something?

I'm fine, Shrimp. It's just, you know, wedding. Most people come with a date. Which I actually have, his name is Dana and he is super duper cute. But I sort of imagined going to Myri and Finnick's wedding with Luthir.

[ she shrugs, lips lifting in a sheepish smile. ] I'm fine, promise, just having a sad panda kind of moment.

Oh. [Since he never really got to know Luthir? Stiles has a hard time remembering he existed. Whoops.]

[ lmao she's not surprised. she's pretty sure she's the only person that thinks about him 24/7 still. everyone has moved on, which is good, she figures that's good and healthy. meanwhile she is... not. ]

Hmmm. [ she ponders this thoughtfully. ] Wanna dance?

[he doesn't care if she's just humoring him. This is mostly to keep her cheered up anyway. He can embarrass himself for the cause.]

So who's that guy I saw you with?

Dana, he of the prettiest eyes ever. He's one of Mark's old friends. I can't decide between him and Michael, but Dana's edging the Collins boy out a smidgen. They had a gang back in the day, like the Jets and the Sharks. They broke into song and had impromptu dance rumbles. And now they're all grown and handsome as fuck.

[ with a 17 disguise, her date looks pretty hella, ngl. he comes up to her with a glass in each hand, aw yeah ] I hope sparkling grape is fine with you. It was that or water, considering-- [ he gestures towards her stomach, holding out the glass ]

Thanks. I really miss wine. I miss wine so much. I have a deep emotional connection with wine and now it's gone. [ she makes a face. ] And I feel like a whale, this bodes so badly.

Well, if it's any consolation, you're a very attractive whale. [ crit fail charm check ladies and gentlemen.

[ literally any other person on the planet would be insulted by that. but it's so... dumb and fucking precious, vi just busts out laughing, reaching out to hold on to his sleeve. ]

God, you're so adorable. I'm gonna marry you. [ still holding on to his sleeve and giggling, she tugs him over to kiss his cheek.

[ he has literally no idea what to say to that, but it's clear that he's entirely unused to anyone being this forward in his fancy ass society. ] Thank you, I think.

Don't worry, I'm not going to actually marry you. I'm slutty, but it turns out I'm a one husband kind of person and I have already met my quota.

[ its kind of sad when she says it out loud, but she doesn't seem all that fussed about it, smiling behind her glass before she takes a sip. ]
