[ maybe you hear the shriek of utter dismay followed by: ] An entire fucking year?? [ or maybe you're the unfortunate person in firing range when violet chucks her phone at the wall with all the force of a major league baseball pitcher. like, damn that girl has an arm on her.

if you're lucky enough not to witness her full blown adult temper tantrum, she's probably eating her feelings in the kitchen. why yes, she will start and finish this entire gallon of ice cream, fuck you very much for implying she can't.

later, once she's full of dairy and regret, she makes her way to the training room to beat the shit out of some dummies with her lovely sword. it's the best way she has to get her aggression out that isn't specifically hitting her favorite sparring partner. (that would be finnick.) and to tell the truth, while she favors her bow, she's just as scary with her sword. (atks 16, 23, 19, 18) and schwing FINISH HIM, she decapitates the dummy with a flaw free nat 20. whoopsie daisy. ]

[So the kitchen is one of the few areas in the castle where Cora will willingly go without prompting. It's the food. After months of not awesome meals, the food here is actually fresh and good, and she loves shoving her face in it, more or less.

She's currently siting cross-legged at the counter, working her way through a nice hefty sandwich when Vi storms in like a woman on a mission. She watches as the other woman tears into a carton of ice cream, and at first she may have thought that was a little odd, but a deep breath confirms that there's more to it than that (wisdom 16).

Oh.

... She still doesn't say anything though, just sort of watches her as she systematically tries to sooth her anger with ice cream.]

[ om nom nom. ice cream, you're so nice. so kind. and fattening. you don't talk back. you just soothe her frayed nerves. thank god she's not lactose intolerant, ice cream is the only reason she's not vegan.

out of nowhere, she points a spoon at cora. ] Men suck.

[Oh. It's a guy thing? Confused teenage werewolf is confused, but she'll try not to read too much into it. Obviously the guy who got her pregnant is the one who sucked. Maybe they're fighting or something.]

[She misses the capital "S" on that Surly, and just assumes she means the adjective which ... isn't inaccurate either.]

[She won't comment on whether or not she's surly.]

[ she's definitely surly, that is for damn sure. ] Vi. Only a part time lesbian, so you know, don't let my bitterness put you off the whole thing.

[Her eyebrows rise a bit at that as she takes another bite of her sandwich.]

How's that working out for you?

[Not that she really wants to know, but maybe soliciting it will feel less awkward than it being babbled at her.]

[Felicity's spectacular reflexes manage to save her from getting nailed by that particular phone (reflex save 19), leaning her body back from the smashing of the phone and her eyes going a little wide. Not that she thinks Vi intended to nail her but ... wow that's a reaction.]

[Yes, she may be using her "talking to children" voice, but it's only because she loves you.]

[ SHE IS NOT A CHILD. haha who are we kidding, she's pouting like the phone personally offended her. AND NOW ITS BROKEN SO SHE HAS TO GET A NEW ONE. /lays down on the floor and cries. actually she manages to stay standing but idk it's iffy. she wants to have a temper tantrum. ]

I'm going to be pregnant for a year. [ a beat. ] Literally. Literally pregnant for a year. Fuck this noise. I quit.

[At first there's a look of confusion. Then her eyes widen as she gets it and ... wow.]

[Yeah Stiles was actually coming down to the firing range to find Vi. Then he heard her shouting about something and picked up the pace. By the time he rounds the corner and finds Vi and Felicity, he's catching up on what's wrong.]

...You're pregnant?

What? No. [ oh my god, she needs to stop yelling. there is a clear moment when she struggles to salvage the situation and then she just completely gives up the pretense. ]

Only a little. Diet pregnant.

[Felicity just turns on Vi with a look because really? Diet pregnant?]

You just told me that you're going to be pregnant for a year. I don't think that counts as "diet pregnant."

[Stiles is really confused. He's pretty sure pregnant is all or nothing but... maybe he fell asleep and missed that part of health class. What he does know? Is that this has to suck, considering the fact that Vi's husband is dead.]

An entire vat of beer. [ CAN THAT HAPPEN???? she sighs dramatically because her life is a series of tragedies and she doesn't like it ma, make it stop ma.

but as this is stiles and he's basically a baby still so she doesn't want to be snappy with him.

except beer. how do trimesters even work when it's a year long?? how long does she need to wait before she can have half a beer. SHE IS NOT GOOD AT MATH. ] I would kill a man for a Guinness, I'm going to be honest right now. I would literally cut a bitch if there was a beer in front of me.

But I'll settle for chocolate.
