[ lila finds felicity in the training room and announces her presence by laughing at the punching bag hitting her in the face. click! she grins from behind her phone, immediately texting the picture to felicity's phone so she can keep this moment forever. ]

That look of confused surprise should never be forgotten. "Gosh, since when did this start punching back?" [ she doesn't a decent impression of felicity (bluff 43), but it's easy because they share an accent and it's teasing because she doubts felicity says "gosh". ]

[She laughs a bit in response, before shaking her head.]

Apparently my sucking must have royally pissed it off.

It was kind of pathetic. [ she's such a good friend, wow. BUT IF SHE PRETENDS FELICITY IS GR8, SHE WILL NEVER GET BETTER. lila is saving her life somewhere down the line. ]

Can't help it. I'm used to charming my way out of confrontations. Whole different kind of body language.

[ and so commences some hand to hand tutoring that we're already doing with kate and abigail so, watch me handwave the fuck out of this. lila is a good teacher okay, if only because eric is actually an incredibly competent mentor and he is big on lila being well rounded so he taught her well. (also she has a lady crush on sydney so... she picked up some stuff from staking.

once they've gone a while, she calls a break for them both and steals felicity's water bottle to take a sip before passing it over and pushing her damp hair back from her face. ]

God, I forgot how exhausting that is. Give me a gun any day.

[Felicity nods a bit in agreement as she takes the bottle from her and takes a swig.]

That's definitely my preference too. But sometimes you don't have that kind of distance.

[ lila curls her arm across her waist, resting her other elbow on it and tucking her chin against her hand. her bare hand. ] Luckily distance has never been a problem for me.

Well, we can't all put people to sleep with a touch. Some of us have to make due with what we've got.

Little cat burglar, you. [ pushing on her elbow, she lifts her arm to rub the back of her neck, wincing slightly. she needs to go medicate, because sore for lila is dear god i can't move for everyone else. and she is sore. ] I gotta run, wanna do this again later?
