[ The two groups responsible for evacuation of Shadowkind travel to the island via stealth boat, which puts their arrival a little behind everyone else's.  They run aground not far from both the woods, and the harbor.   Edain grins out at the sleepy island, dressed in full armor, hand on the hilt of his sword.  Anastacia frowns as she watches the woods, however, clearly more on edge about what they have to do. ]

From here, everything looks so peaceful...

[Thoster is comfortable with magic and has no reason not to trust it. He sticks close to Hook, placing a friendly hand on the man's shoulder.]

[Brantley awkwardly stares at them like "for real?". It's not his ship and they're pirates, but they are going to war. Don't want drunken pirates to steer the warship, do you?]

Uh... maybe we should hold back the drinking until after we manage to evacuate the Shadowkind.

[ you know what, since her mentor offered it and she can just blame it on him, she takes a sip of thoster's offered rum. which is probably for the best since she is prone to anxiety and panic and he knows that. it also, miraculously, settles her stomach. I'm trying to get Andrew to accept that having a hot girlfriend makes him hot by association. It's having mixed results.
