Two bodies have been found in downtown London, likely the victims of attacks by some sort of Shadow creature. To prevent a panic, the police are investigating the matter as a dog attack and a potential robbery, while slipping the case under the table to Wynn and his Knights to look into further. Whatever did this is big, nasty, and seems to have taken down the victims without their even struggling. For now, the team is splitting up to look into the crime scenes more closely.

[Know:Theology 28. He turns to look at Will.]
He's the god of beginnings and transitions, and therefore of things like gates, doorways, and time. He usually has two heads, one looking to the past and the other looking to the future.

[He's not sure how much else they'll get. He turns back to the workers.]
Thanks for your help. [He produces a card with his number.] If you guys think of anything else, please let us know.

What did you guys find out?
[He's hoping whatever it is helps what they found make more sense.]

[He motions with his hands as he explains.]
Our friend Percy here was into some weird stuff, too. Apparently he was drinking the night he was killed, came down here despite the fact he had no reason to, and stood still during the entire murder. They said he had 'strange ideas,' and would talk about Janus, the two-headed Roman god of beginnings and transitions, doorways and time.
[He looks at Helen, who he's guessing might have heard of him as well.]
