WHO || Davin, Alice, Matt, Sawyer
WHAT || The Knights trace inexplicable messages being played on the radio
WHERE || NYC
WHEN || April 18th, 2015
HOW || Actionspam
Strange transmissions cutting into radio stations with no recognizable source. Mysterious messages in Shadowkind languages that no one's been able to decipher. And very few leads on where to go with all of this, except for a couple names of some of the random citizens who seem to have received the messages. It's hardly much to go on, but definitely an interesting mystery, that takes the small team into the heart of NYC. They arrange their flight to arrive after sundown, for Davin's sake, and he's pretty openly scornful about being assigned to what's likely a wild goose chase.

Mind if I tag along? [She nods at the bunny and adds.] The ominous 'you must not fail' kind of has me wanting to go where the rabbit goes.

Handy enough for you? [The smallest hint of a grin playing across her lips.]

Not mine either. [Unless there is a spell that can do that but I sure couldn't find one.]

jk, she doesn't. but she hates making phone calls and it's super noticeable the way her demeanor changes from the firm take charge attitude she has with davin and just melts into a kid with anxiety they can't hide.
WHICH I AM SURE GOES OVER GREAT WITH LIS'SA, of all people. ]
Um, hi. [ she turns and strides away from the group so she doesn't have to be viscerally uncomfortable right in front of them. ] This is uh, Alice, Sir Lincoln, whatever. Um, we're in New York, looking into the situation with the weird radio transmissions? If you, uh, know about that? Anyway we found the thing the transmissions were asking for and there's this sort of spy device in it? It's a stuffed rabbit like a Furby, BunBun, and it's got a little video camera in the eye. Would you be able to remotely stop the transmission... somehow? Or lead us to where it's coming from so we can stop it ourselves, I guess?
[ she thinks that's all the pertinent info the hoard might need right off the bat. ]

We're in New York on a mission. It was to find and translate a series of transmissions coming through radios in some kind of subliminal messaging, the translation which led us to the BunBun, a hot children's toy that I discovered has a, uh, fiber optic camera in the eye. None of us know how to trace the signal back to whomever is watching through the camera.
[ she only said uh once, gold star for alice lincoln. ]

[ and she's just gonna step over to the edge of the sidewalk and whistle for a cab, holding her other hand out like SOMEONE PULL OVER! idk if there is a check for that, but if so, she has a 19 whistle. it's one of those obnoxious basketball game whistles, tbh.
she probably attracted some stray dogs. ]
