[ Gold's been gone now for long enough to leave most people assuming that he isn't going to come back. Driven off by confirmation that he was, in fact, the Dark One from the Enchanted Forest by Gaston and Emma, the only indication that he's even alive came in a dream delivered to Belle, where he admitted that he was looking to understand more about this Dark One, perhaps seeking a way to refute the claims of the others. Plenty of people are worried, however, about what direction his search might take him. Others, however, are just plain pissed that he would abandon them without a word - and it's that anger that drove Faye to ally with GLADOS to discover that he was in Glastonbury, and with Lila's help enlist Zero to pinpoint his exact last known whereabouts, at a shitty motel. Together, the girls take a car and head out, hoping to find him once and for all.

There's only one car in the lot when they pull in, the VACANCY sign flashing forlornly above the office door. No lights are visible in any of the rooms, but a COKE machine provides some illumination, along with the lone pair of streetlamps that dully lighten the parking lot. ]

After a mission that took me through a sewer and another that ruined my boots with swamp water? This is a five star resort. [But she doesn't look much happier, despite that contrary answer. Pushing her hair out of her face, she huffs out a breath.]

I guess we can ask the front desk. Do you think he'd be stupid enough to use his actual name?

she cares about faye finding gold. ] Luckily Sylar and Zero know where we went so if we don't come back they can find our bodies in the alley with no trouble.

[She moves just half a heartbeat after Lila does, not interested in wasting much time. As they near the door to the reception area, she reaches for Lila's arm.]

If the guy in there gets weird about giving us information, do something to distract him, get him outside or something and I'll try to find what we need.

[ the older man at the desk looks like he hasn't budged from it in awhile, and he looks up as they enter. ] Need a room?

[Faye regrets everything. She wishes Lila was going straight for the knockout touch because pretending to be here to bang Gold makes her want to puke. But she's a professional... and not a professional sex worker. But a knight and she's here to do a god damn job. So she smiles prettily and tosses her hair over her shoulder.]

[ lila handles the transaction, resisting the urge to roll her eyes at this guy, and delicately taking the key in hand. ]

[Faye heads out with Lila now that they have the key. She even manages not to gag until they make it out of earshot. She follows any signs to get them towards the room they need.]

He better have left some clue behind... [She grumbles.]

[ they find the room, and get it open, heading inside. it's not very spacious, but the bed is made. the only real sign that someone was here is that the trash is full of empty ramen boxes and the stench of shame. ]

Well. [ she puts her hands on her hips. ] Sure as fuck didn't pack dignity with him on this trip.

[ as she glances around, she casts arcane sight, eyes flaring bright blue as she double checks to see if he left some magical sign of his whereabouts. ]
