The morning after, the Knights board a plane at their private airfield, and begin the couple hour flight to the country of Slovechnia.  Wynn has laid out a plan for them as such, leaving Sir Gar in charge of seeing it executed:  they are to send in a few Knights to infiltrate the wedding, while others steal an ambulance from a local hospital.  Using magic to make Sarandis think he's having a heart attack during the ceremony, they will intercept the outgoing call to the paramedics, and pose as them to take him out of there and straight to a private airfield to meet with Wynn.  They're all aware, however, of just how smoothly their plans tend to go where these villains are involved - especially if the Mind Master shows up.  

Either way, it promises to be an interesting day...

You talk like that all the time and you've got how many kids now?

Rick Steel doesn't have any kids, for your information. [Archer folds his arms, and looks away haughtily.]

That he knows of. [ the discussion inside reaches them though and vi straightens up, eyes zooming directly to the doors as she awaits the aftermath (spot 39, listen 36), resisting the urge to draw her still invisible bow.

she also crosses her fingers, just in case. ] Give 'em hell, Kat.

[ she doesn't even need either of those checks, however, because a short while later the ambulance comes wailing into view and vi breathes out a sigh of relief. ] Looks like the cavalry has arrived. Just in fucking time.

[And out of the ambulance they bound, looking like pros, and Felicity swings a bag up over her shoulder as she talks to Vi and Archer, but keeping her voice low.]

What's the random doctor situation? Are we blown?

[graveflowers]

We didn't call anyone! Oh no, it must be inside.

[ she gestures to the chapel like they were asking the two random people if they were the ones having heart attacks, before dropping her voice to add over the comms: ] Not if you get in there right now. If they get up there just shove 'em out of the way. You have the badges, they don't. Now go.

[recruited]

[ They seem to be making their way over the hurdles without issue. He just hopes this doctor one isn't going to be their downfall. Steve keeps walking. Fast and with the fierce determination of a medical professional going to save a life. He's hoping to cut off whatever doctor hero is in there. He's big. He's hoping his size will be to his advantage in this situation. ]

[isisagent]

Yeah inside, that way. [Archer points toward the chapel, mimicking Vi, then under his breath he asks her;]

Should we go with them? Or stay out here?

[astrid is GOING THROUGH MOTHERFUCKERS OFF TO DO SOME MOTHERFUCKING DOCTOR THINGS]

Stay here. [ she eyes the guards, leaning over to whisper to archer because now that there is drama she can work under the pretense of gossip. ] Someone is bound to do something stupid and if the ambulance is right here, this is right where they're going to herd Sarandis.

[And Felicity is right behind Astrid, doing her best to look like a professional paramedic as she goes. TIME TO do some kidnapping SAVE A LIFE.]

[ vi with a 39 spot check and archer with a NAT 20 both notice a slovechnian police car going down the road, passing the church.




and then stopping at the end of the road.

[ still whispering, ] Rick, my love. You wouldn't happen to have that knockout gas with you?

[isisagent]

[Archer flashes his Omicron Spymaster watch.]

Never leave home without it, Sloan.

[graveflowers]

I think we're going to need to introduce the Slovechnian five-oh to some aerosol Bill Cosby. What do you think?

[isisagent]

Uh, Yes.

[Archer starts off towards the nosey cops. Fuck tha po-lice.]

[ vi follows after him, ofc, turning every so often to keep an eye on the guards by the door. she's going to text gar, also, because she doesn't want this to go over the comms and start a panic.

Can you stop or reroute any police calls from the chapel??? ]

[rationalizes]

I can try. This program isn't built for that. I'll see what I can do. Should we expect company?

[graveflowers]

Cop car here. We're working on it. But maybe.

[rationalizes]

I'll tell them to hurry.

[ and they head up the road, but the cop car is pretty far that way. and as they start to get closer, it starts backing out of the place that it's parked. ]

[isisagent]

... He wouldn't just leave like that if we were black. Just saying.

[graveflowers]

This is shady as hell. More than regular police activity shadiness. Flag him down! [ a beat. ] Non-violently! No guns.

[ as des' panic comes across the comms she sighs before touching it and adding for his benefit, ] We're working on it, calm your tits.

[isisagent]

... No guns? No problem.

[Archer smashes his fists together, and there's an eruption of fire that rolls up to engulf both his arms, winds back, and hurls a bolt of flame at the cop car, dealing 10 Fire damage.]

I said non-violently!!

[isisagent]

Fire isn't violent?
