The morning after, the Knights board a plane at their private airfield, and begin the couple hour flight to the country of Slovechnia.  Wynn has laid out a plan for them as such, leaving Sir Gar in charge of seeing it executed:  they are to send in a few Knights to infiltrate the wedding, while others steal an ambulance from a local hospital.  Using magic to make Sarandis think he's having a heart attack during the ceremony, they will intercept the outgoing call to the paramedics, and pose as them to take him out of there and straight to a private airfield to meet with Wynn.  They're all aware, however, of just how smoothly their plans tend to go where these villains are involved - especially if the Mind Master shows up.  

Either way, it promises to be an interesting day...

[Myri finds Elena at one point while she's parked in that window seat. She slides into the seat beside her and offers a gentle smile.]

It'll be good to be home.

[doubletake]

[Elena blinks a time or two, as if she had mentally checked out or been lost in her thoughts, though she returns Myri's smile.

Still, there's a hesitance and a slight tension to her at the other woman's words.]

I'm relieved to see everyone making it back in one piece.

[witchwoman]

[Myri nods, but she's quiet, studying Elena.]

I know you're still planning on leaving. If that's what's bothering you, that is. Our victory here doesn't change the training that you know you need.

[doubletake]

You saw right thought me, did you?

[Her look is sheepish as she looks over.]

You're right, though. I will be nice to be there, if only for a little while. [Her eyebrows lift slightly.] Can I see Shayla before I leave?

[witchwoman]

Of course you can. You can spend as much time as you'd like with her. [It makes her a little sad still, but there's a bit of pride lingering there, too.]

I couldn't have asked for a better squire, you know. You're a remarkable woman, Elena.

[doubletake]

I'm sure I'll be surprised by how much she's grown in the time I've been gone.

[Elena's lips break into a smile even as she looks down at the ground briefly before her eyes lift back to the other woman's.]

I could not have asked for a better mentor and friend when I first arrived here. You made sure I had a home and hope when I might not have had any. You deserve so much more than what life has given you. [She reaches out and takes her hand.] No matter what happens, or where I am, I am thinking of you.

[witchwoman]

[Myri's hand shifts to grip Elena's a little tighter, taking a deep breath and letting it slowly.]

You'll be in my thoughts every moment until you return to us.

[doubletake]

I know. I just wish I could keep you from worrying about me.

[witchwoman]

I'm afraid that's just not likely. [She manages a little smile.] It's just my way.
