[Olivia is walking now, which means that Hayley doesn't always have to carry her around. It also means that Hayley has to keep a much closer eye on the would-be witch-werewolf-vampire baby. The good thing about her being mobile, though, is that means there's a lot more cute things that she can coax her little one into doing. Such as walking across paper with wet paint on her feet to create adorable Valentine's Cards.

Currently, Olivia is dressed as the cutest Love Bug you ever did see and Hayley follows behind her in an oversized deep red sweater and dark jeans. She'll be more than happy to hand anyone a Valentine for the day.]

[Felicity has plans later in the evening, but when she sees Hayley and Olivia, she slows to a stop do say hello.]

Well, look at you, cutie. Are you having a good Valentine's Day?

[consequence]

[Naturally, Olivia is just happy someone is paying extra attention to her, so she's all smiles and happy half-words. She'll attempt a hug when Felicity is low enough, because Hayley has been trying to get her to do that near automatically. It's such a good feeling that she wants it as often as possible - without prompting.]

She was really into having the paint all over, until she realized she couldn't actually go everywhere with the paint on her.

[She laughs as she returns the hug easily, rubbing Olivia's back gently.]

As sure as I am that whatever she's got would go beautifully with Wynn's decorating scheme, it's probably for the best if she doesn't.

[Olivia tries to go up onto her tip toes, angling for Felicity to pick her up.]

Yeah, I wasn't looking forward to asking where the industrial strength cleanser was - even if it would be for something as simple as paint.

[Which she will do easily (strength 18), letting Olivia rest easily on her hip.]

Probably for the best. You, little girl, are much easier to clean.

[Olivia goes to play with Felicity's hair.]

I don't know about that. She's reached the age where bath time is just a time to play with toys in the water. She fusses when I try to wash her hair or use soap or anything. It's definitely a work in progress.

[She grins a bit, only really wincing when she tugs a little too hard.]

She'll get used to it. She's getting to that age where she's trying to assert her own philosophy of "I do what I want."

[Hayley reaches to try and untangle some of Felicity's hair from Olivia's hand.]

She definitely got that from her father. [Spoiler alert: She gets it from both of them.]

[ one of those valentines winds up in edain's hands, and he looks amused as he looks it over ] What's this, then?

Olivia wants to be everyone's Valentine today.

[Hayley smiles as Olivia watches Edain. She's a curious sort, but still new people take her a bit.] We made Valentines and apparently I don't get to put them up on Pinterest Fails.

Am I supposed to know what that is?

[consequence]

No, definitely not. It's something I wish I had never found, but when it's two in the morning and you're pretty sure she's going to wake up in an hour... there are only so many things you can check on the internet before you just sink into a hole of people trying crafts for themselves and failing.

Still not certain I get the appeal. The whole internet thing.

[consequence]

I try to stay away from it, mostly because I'd sooner spend my time with my daughter - but it has its uses. [Like cute crafts for kids to do and how to get stubborn stains out.]

I'm sure all the missions that get planned out here would be handled differently if it wasn't for the ease of connectivity.

Magic did much the same, where I came from. Seemed to have less side effects, too.

Magic? [Hayley shows interest, mostly because her daughter is part witch - at least on Klaus' side of the family. Speaking of the little one, she tugs at Hayley's leg signaling that she's tired of standing. Hayley bends down and scoops her daughter up, holding her close as Olivia rests her head to Hayley's chest.]

How did that work?

[ Dawn is on her way upstairs when she sees Olivia and Hayley. The little girl is so cute, she just has to stop and meet her (and her she-is-going-to-assume mom). ]

Aren't you totally the prettiest girl today?

[Hayley laughs as Olivia smiles at Dawn and hands her a Valentine.]

I'm honestly surprised she's kept the outfit on this long. Usually by this time, I'm carrying at the very least her shoes and a sock.

For me? [ She takes the Valentine. ] Thank you.

[ Then Dawn gives her attention to the mom. ] Not much for the clothing, huh? I get that. There's definitely days that I don't wanna put on pants.

[consequence]

I think it's more the fancy clothing. [Hayley glances down at Olivia and smiles.]

I'm Hayley -- that's Olivia.

Oh. [ And now she feels a little embarrassed, just TMI'ing in front of new people. Sorry. ]

I'm Dawn. It's nice to meet you both.

[consequence]

[Hayley picks up on the ounce of embarrassed (sense motive 18) and smiles at her.]

Olivia is pretty much anti-pants, too. If she could be in a onesie all day, she'd do it.

[ Thank you, kind soul, for easing her embarrassment. ]

Little kids can get away with that. Adults? Generally frowned upon.

I don't know... for a good solid month after she was born I walked around this place in pajamas. All the time. [Drawstring pants and a tank top. No one said a thing.]
