[ Venus crawled right up on his lap and stuck her head into the treat bag, pulling a treat out and went back to eating again. Mars blinked a bit, not only at faith but Venus, who he didn't even realize was missing. His hair was messy from the wind.]

Hey, what brings you out here? [ he asked, even if he was pretty sure it was the cat sitting sprawled over his lap.]

[ she can't help but laugh a little at his hair, and reaches out a hand as if to pat it down for him before stopping herself and dropping her hand in her lap. ] Bad dreams, I guess.

It's hopeless. [ He didn't jerk away when she tried to pat his hair down. He just laughed a bit.] I need to get it cut again soon... or remember to tie it back more.

[ He sat the book aside, giving her his full attention.] Want to talk about them? Bad dreams are kind of my forte. [ Venus purred a bit, as if to agree. She's so used to waking fitful humans.]

Well. They're not mine, exactly. So I'm not sure how much I should talk about them.

You don't have to, only if your comfortable with it. Though now I'm curious, you dream other peoples dreams?

You know how I said I'm descended from a goddess?

[charismapotion]

Yeah, kind of hard to forget that. [ He spoke smiling just a bit.]

[moonheart]

Two goddesses. And one of those is Sehanine Moonbow, the elven goddess of dreams.

[ Mars nodded a bit. He looked a little confused mostly because he was.]

[moonheart]

Well, I inherited a special gift from her, I suppose you could say. They call it dreamwalking.

That sounds like it could be both awesome and terrible at the same time. I'm guessing you end up in a lot of bad dreams.

[moonheart]

Yeah, I don't really have a handle on it all the time yet. I can choose where I'm going when I'm awake, but sometimes when I'm asleep I just... drift.

[charismapotion]

Considering how some of us are here, that sounds like it could be dangerous.

[ A note of worry in his tone.]

Maybe. But I don't know how else I'm supposed to figure it out.

Do you have anyway of coming out of it if things go downhill?

[ He understood the need to learn, he was just concerned.]

[moonheart]

Nope. Just gotta ride it out.

[charismapotion]

That doesn't sound very safe.

[ He sat up a bit more looking at her.] I'm gonna be worried about you from now on, but I'm sure you'll be fine. [ He reached over plucking up a random flower, and held it over to her.] By the way, Happy Valentines day.

[moonheart]

[ that draws a wide smile from her, and she reaches out to take it, sticking her nose in the petals ] I honestly forgot. [ it's a good distraction at least, and she's happy to have it. happy enough to reach out and give him a quick peck on the cheek ] Happy Valentine's Day, Mars.

[ He blushed a bit, despite trying not to. (bluff 5) ] Thank you, and don't mention it. It's actually why I'm out here. A few of my friends are really into the whole thing and I didn't want to get roped into anything to out there.

[ Venus was just judging the both of them and sticking her face back in the treat bag.]

What counts as too out there?

I... don't really have an answer, but I guess I was just worried about getting roped into something stupid all the same. You never know with my friends.

Which friends are these exactly?

[charismapotion]

Mostly Adam. [ Sure he's not seen him in awhile but he expected he would.] And you never know what Kenzi might be up to. [ He shrugged a bit and smiled.] I guess I'm being silly.

[moonheart]

They probably just want to see you happy.

[charismapotion]

Your likely right there. I usually dont mind the craziness that comes from my closest friends but, I never really cared about Valentines day. I'm not really a touchy person. [ He added with a shrug.]
