[ The castle can be a happening place, even on more mundane days. This log is for random interactions over the course of these few months. Because not everyone is into parties, ok. Characters who are not currently squired in may also post, as their characters are living in the castle awaiting their ceremonies.  This takes place after the Knights have returned from rescuing Gar in New York City, but before the planned Keijen Blade concert at the beginning of 2017.

[he raises an eyebrow, like girl this is your community.] You can certainly guess why I haven't made the attempt myself. As the only person who can testify against her in detail, he might not be all that willing to hear me out.

More than a shot, I hope. It may be the difference between winning and losing, and I assure you that you do not want a woman like that going back to her husband and finding a way to use his affiliation to this organization to her advantage.

And that, Agent Bristow, could be true chaos. Of a kind even Nicholas St. Andrew was too petty and preoccupied to truly understand. Monsters falling through the Veil and ravaging towns are nothing compared to bureaucratic affairs thrown in disarray.

And I'm starting to grow accustomed to this place. I'd hate to see anything happen to it.

Wynn isn't looking for people who are here solely out of self-interest. [ she says it, but at the same time, she feels like she's seen plenty of counter examples running around, and she's sure he has too. the argument is pretty paper thin. ]

I think you'll find even the most altruistic person has their own reasons for being here and some of them might not be so pleasant to the average person. Especially those who've been... [he eyes her carefully] displaced from their own worlds. The ones who feel as if they have nowhere else to go.

the words make her deeply uncomfortable, the certainty in his voice and the intensity of his gaze stirring all her internal resistance. there's a calm rationality in his argument and that only angers her more somehow.
