I'm an Aries. I like cherry slushies and blue cotton candy. I'm a dream worker. Which basically means I can force someone into REM sleep and then, well, then I can pretty much do whatever I want with them. Unlike hypnosis, self-preservation doesn't always kick in.

Yeah, but there's different kinds of workers. Like, my parents weren't dream workers. We're just born with higher than normal hyperbathygammic levels. [This is weird, explaining. Everyone usually knows.]

Hyperbathygammic. HBG for short. [She feels no need to perpetuate the more derogatory terms for workers, so she refrains from calling it the "heebeegeebees".] It's something to do with brain chemistry.

They used to call it thaumaturgy? Workers were revered.

[They aren't anymore.] But yeah, hand to skin contact is necessary.

Uh, no. [Because she has no idea what entails this pantheon and, well, if she did -- Lila doesn't believe in that stuff.]

Can't really say I am either. But it's hard to disbelieve it entirely when some people are walking around here claiming to be descended from gods.

I'm not vouching for it one way or another. But they do get their weird magic powers from somewhere.

[Because whatever, magic. Workers have existed since the dawn of time, it's not magic to her, it just is. Magic is Harry Potter and Narnia. Lila doesn't even believe in God god, she's sure not going to believe in an entire pantheon of that crap. At least not without proof.
