[ The Durere concert hall is absolutely packed when they make their way into the back after buying their tickets. Most of the people here have crowded the stage, although a few are parked at back tables with drinks casually procured from the bar. It's smoky and dingy and small, and the concert goers are arrayed in a variety of goth-looking ensembles: a sea of black and funky hair styles and piercings stretches out in front of them. The Knights look so abysmally out of place, it's almost funny. ]

[ he blinks a tiny bit and sort of mutters a: ] Huh, wha? [ but he's notably trying to look over her head to keep staring at the stage ]

[ kat scoops up a flier and rolls it up, THWACKing mark in the back of the head so hard it's audible over the concert noise (atk 21, dmg... 9). ] We're on a mission, dumbass! Pay attention!

[witchwoman]

[Myri jumps at the sound of impact from Kat's smack. Her eyes go wide and she scans the room to see if they've gathered too much attention. Hurriedly, she turns to both of her friends and puts a hand on each of them. She doesn't want to shout, lest she call even more attention to their little group, so here's hoping she can bring some silent sense to these two.]

kat's violent display actually did draw some attention from those gathered nearby, including a security guard who's keeping an eye on them now. but it's pretty clear that she and mark aren't starting a real fight, so he doesn't look overly concerned. meanwhile, nadia launches into another song, and keijen and decker continue to look wrapped up in watching and talking quietly: not noticing the knights at all. ]

[ meanwhile, mark's absently rubbing the back of his head and frowning, saying petulantly: ] I am paying attention. She's the reason we're here, isn't she? [ and his eyes still don't leave the stage, much to kat's further annoyance ]

[witchwoman]

I've got a bad feeling about this. [She directs to Kat.]

[shootfirst]

I don't know what's going on, but I'm definitely not big on it. [ she frowns more deeply and finds stands up, yanking on mark's sleeve to drag him with ] C'mon. I think we better get to her before those guys do, which means we should be waiting for her backstage.

[witchwoman]

[Once she's sure that Mark is coming along, Myri follows as well. She's not sure what they plan to do if they find themselves face to face with their adversaries, but their combined skill sets could surely get them out of any situation.

At least that's the goal.]

[shootfirst]

Just follow my lead, ok? [ she pushes through the few crowded patrons around the edge of the room, aiming for the backstage door. ]

[witchwoman]

[Myri doesn't like not knowing the plan, but she trusts Kat with her life and knows she can get them out of... m o s t ... situations. She keeps up, just a few steps behind, trying to blend in as much as possible.]

[shootfirst]

[ as they reach the door, a guard steps in front of them, and kat digs into her pocket to pull out a business card and whispers under her breath: ] Identificus. [ the card surface shimmers and turns into a BACKSTAGE PASS complete with her photo on it. she flashes it with a shrug and points behind her ]

They're with me. [ the guard examines it for a few moments, then looks up at myri and mark, before jerking a thumb over his shoulder, not bothering to talk above the roar. kat grins and pushes the door open, and they head into the backstage hall. ]

[witchwoman]

[Myri is once again impressed by Kat's skillz at getting them places that they didn't belong. Once backstage, she breathes a little easier, because they've done this before... in Italy. Except it ended in gunfire at Rafael's place, but whatever.]

How long until the shot is over? [Because they can't exactly talk to anyone until then.]

Long enough for us to sneak into her dressing room and look for clues?

What sort of clues are there to find? Unless she keeps something detailing her parentage, I highly doubt we'll be able to confirm anything...

Girl's got a point. We should probably just try to corner her when she comes off stage and beat Laurel & Hardy to the punch.

[witchwoman]

It can't hut to try to look... But maybe someone should stay near the stage just in case the others try to grab her?

Mark, why don't you get on that? Guard duty suits you. [ he doesn't seem to know what to make of that, but nods and wanders off again, and kat slings her arm through myri's ] Now to see if we can find it. [ make a search check of 13+ to locate the dressing room! ]

[witchwoman]

[A search of 18 makes Myri the sleuthiest for this task. This must be related to all of her time spent with Finnick and Co. to help her know the way around a backstage area.]

Kat... [She calls out, trying to be quiet still.] Over here.

[shootfirst]

[ kat's head whips to where myri is pointing and she glances around befor sliiiding that way and trying the door behind herself. it clicks open and she puts a finger on her lips and steps in with exaggerated scooby doo style steps.

after a second, she beckons myri inside. ] It's clear.

[ the dressing room isn't particularly large or glamorous at all. there's make-up scattered haphazardly in front of the mirror, and the smell of smoke hangs in the air. clothes are dumped on the floor as if someone was flinging a bunch of outfits aside to pick one out. ]

[witchwoman]

[Myri steps in and looks around. Upon realizing the mess of it, she just... starts digging around for clues (search 16).]

What do you think happened to Mark back there? He doesn't seem the type to enjoy that kind of music.

[shootfirst]

You're right about that much: I know how much Mark loves Britney Spears, after all. [ she tosses some corsets to the side ] It's almost like he was in a trance. It seemed... familiar, somehow.

[ myri would discover a vase on the dresser with a bizarre black rose in it: and a small plain white card with the words "For Alys" on it upon one side and "Look for me tonight" on the other ]

[witchwoman]

[She stops and looks over the flower and the card, turning towards Kat with the flower in one hand and the card in the other.]

There may be a third looking for this girl.

Who's Alys?

A pet name, perhaps? I can only assume it's meant for our singer, since this is her dressing room...

She's a popular lady. Maybe too popular. Something about this screams 'stalker' to me.
