[ It's not until Buffy's a bit more settled in and Jack's returned from some business that he's able to hold true to his promise to set up a meeting for her with the head of the Hellsing family. So one foggy London January morning, he drives her out to the Hellsing manor. The estate is intimidating on its own, though obviously not to the scale of the Knight's castle. It does, however, make up for it in the menacing aura that seems to hang about the entire exterior of the manor.

Jack pulls the car up to the front gate, and announces himself to the guard stationed there. After the soldier confirms it over headset, he waves them through, and the gates clatter open. ]

So, out of curiosity, is the oversiziness of it all a compensation thing or an intimidation thing. Who the heck runs in this place, anyway? [ she peers out the window. she's been commentating pretty much since they pulled up near enough to do so. ]
