The "afterparty" is rumored to be the real main event of the night. A black-tie affair in the lavish, opulent ballroom, it is every new Knight's chance to mingle and meet some of their new brothers in arms. Of course, a couple hours are provided following the ceremony for everyone to change, do hair and makeup, and choose from the vast array of formal attire in the closets of the balcony "dressing rooms" located at the top of spiraled staircases on either side of the ballroom. A separate dressing room exists for men and women, and they include full bathrooms (with, thankfully, very modern plumbing).

The squires are usually among the last to arrive, and the ballroom is full to the brim with a fancy array of people, of all shapes, sizes and species.

Hope you aren't shy. They're all here to meet you.

Feel free to make your own open threads for people to come congratulate your newly pledged knight.

ooc; also if your Knight wants to get all gussied up, you can make a Disguise (Cha) check for how good they were at hair/makeup/stylin', etc! This goes for... any time.

Absolutely none, that anyone's discovered in hundreds of years of looking. Tia says it's as if the memories aren't even repressed - they're just not there.

So even the stuff you remember you just can't make sense of it... that's just - too bad?

Whatever was taken from you was taken for a reason. It's better to not obsess over a past you can't recreate.

"Fair" might not figure into it. Things aren't always so black and white when it comes to the past.

Personally I think that it's bullshit to hide things that have a direct impact on me.

How should I know when she won't tell me? [Actually...] She's not scared she's - [Brow furrowing.] I don't know. I don't know how to describe the feeling but it wasn't scared.

Then I hope she comes around. That has to be... frustrating.

If she doesn't I'll just go around her. [The bond can be useful sometimes.] But yeah. That's the nice way of putting it.

[And yet, she's quietly pleased that somebody gets it even if they really don't because how do you even begin to explain a Spirit Bond.]
