[Awh yeah shopping in Paris. This is pretty much the best thing Faye has ever been asked to do. Well.. she was only asked to go to France, but you don't send a teenager with a charge card to a place like Paris and NOT expect them to buy enough to fill an extra suitcase on the way back.

She's already hit up three stores and has bags lined along her arm as she confidentially strolls down the street.]

This is way better than Nevada.

It's Paris, Faye. It's better than everything. [Lila's hands are also full but one is holding a cigarette, she's been chain smoking the entire time is all honesty, and the other has a crepe. Because food. Have you had crepes in Paris? It's way better than that Mona Lisa bullshit.

Is anyone at all surprised by this? No? Good. Don't worry, she's down wind, okay, she won't give her lung cancer to anyone else.]

[Faye stopped caring about Lila's second hand smoke about two seconds after meeting her. Fuck the haters, tbh.]

Mmm, shoes, that I can get behind. [Lila is pro-shoes. And she hurries a bit to catch up to Faye's side as she flicks her depleated cigarette to the gutter... and pulls out another. Pls to be doing your pyro magic?]

[ emma is catching up late and snatching the cigarette out of lila's hand, dropping it to the ground to stomp on it. oh no mom's home. but she must have just been hanging back at the crepe stand, because she's got one in her hand as well. ]

I don't think there's anything stressful enough about shoe-shopping to require chain-smoking your way there.

[Wow it wasn't even lit yet. Faye just arches a judging eyebrow at Emma's mom display.]

[ emma catches the glance (sense motive 24), and it draws something of a grim look from her, but she doesn't pursue the mission talk or the dick measuring of who had it worse. instead, she decides to entertain what's obviously fledgling teenage girl gossip. she's a cool mom. ]

Who's Rose?

Only Wynn's biggest mistake to date. [Faye sneers as they round a corner towards the shoe shop she had in mind.] The bitch belongs in a cage. Or better yet, needs to be put down.

Okay, setting aside the animosity here for a minute and the question of what exactly she did to warrant it; let's try to find a better insult. There are enough guys out there calling women dogs and bitches, you don't need to contribute. You want to hate her, then hate her, but ... you're smarter than relying on misogyny to say so. [ DISAPPROVING LOOK, and after school special aside ... ] What did she do?

[She will leave out the fact that the punch was thrown after she tried to set Rose on fire. Oh look- the store is here. Faye grabs the door and holds it open. It's possibly the rudest way a person can hold a door out for you, because she looks like you are already wasting her time by not being inside already.]

That just wasn't a good party for you, was it? [She and Faye made their bet that night too. She takes her time meandering into the store because antagonism is how they show affection, okay.]

[ emma takes the door from faye and nods for her to head inside, with emma following. ]

[Faye gives Lila an exaggerated fake smile, knowing exactly what the girl is referring to and not wanting to think about THAT either right now. She turns to Emma in a huff, already tired of this conversation because now it feels like a line of questioning.]

Yes, out of nowhere! She just came after me for no reason. [bluff 30] She's a psycho. And dangerous. [Those she just really believes.]

[Lila smirks at Faye, rolling her eyes, but she's bored with the Rose bashing and, popping the last of her crepe in her mouth, she heads over to salivate over a display of gorgeous and very high heels. Come to mommy.]

[ sense motive 18 means it sounds pretty legit, honestly. she knows wynn probably has his reasons for who he brings on, but she also knows that she doesn't thoroughly trust those reasons implicitly the way some of the older knights appear to. she heads inside, holding up one hand to indicate her willingness to drop it. ]

[Satisfied that she is no longer getting the third degree, Faye focuses on finding something strappy and sexy. And also ridiculously expensive.]
