The flight to Essen is very short, only about half an hour, and Sydney makes good time flying them there. Wynn has a car already rented and waiting for them as usual and then it's a short drive to the coordinates Lady Nell sent them.

While the neighborhood in question was once a very nice residential development, it now shows decades of neglect. There is a squat, one-story storefront across from what appears to be a riot control vehicle that appears severely battered.

[Did anyone expect Andrew to make that will save? Because no one should have. The dice know that his life is just trauma right now (will 12). But he's at least got his game face on while he deals with the overwhelming sense of dread, catching sight of light nearly instantly (spot nat 20).]

[She spots the lights pretty easily as well (spot 22), but just like the disposal area earlier, Felicity's skin is crawling with this place (will save 9). Every part of her is telling her she does not want to stick around.

All the same, she waits to see what kind of answers Andrew digs up. Maybe that will help them figure out how to approach going in.]

[ as andrew works on pulling that up, felicity would notice a flash of movement in one of the only windows that isn't boarded. she would almost swear that it was a little girl's face, but the girl moves away quickly, eyes going wide when she sees felicity looking at her.

what andrew finds is a company called "TLC", which appears to actually be American in origin. it stands for 'Total Logistic Control' and he has a hard time discovering what they actually... do. ]

Alright, so this company is a cover. That's obvious. Total Logistic Control. Okay so... that wasn't as helpful as I thought it might be. I think we may just need to head in. Get this over with.

[ the scent of sterilizing chemicals hits his nose as he opens the unlocked door, which a wis check of 15+ can identify. Among the ceiling tiles and other detritus on the floor are iv bags, surgical tubing, bed pans, and cloths stained with various bodily fluids. A metal gurney lies on its side further up the corridor, tangled in red and yellow stained sheets. ]

[ He wrinkled his nose at the smell (Wis 21). That was off putting to him, too clean never set right with him.]

Guys! [ He called back in a hushed tone. Kinda late to be all covert for him. Oh well, he's pretty.]

[Andrew doesn't care how covert Sebastian is right now. He's just trying to get this show on the road so he can go home and cry about his dead friend. As he approaches, he covers his nose and mouth with his hand at the stench (wis 13 he has no clue what that is but it stinks).]

[ syd is busy staring down the hall at something else that is hanging half-concealed out of a door, holding onto it with both hands. as they watch, the little girl comes out, dressed in a frilly white dress and approaches slowly. a spot check of 14 recognizes that she has elf ears, and a spot check of 15 notices the blood stains on her dress. she looks about six year old.



"Can you help my mommy?" ]

[ A brow arched as he looked to the kid. Oh shit he hated when kids were involved. WEAK SPOT. (Spot check; 17)]

Fucking hell-! [Creepy little kid covered in blood. Great. Andrew notices everything (spot 20 total), but that doesn't help him feel any better about this. He's on edge. Also he watches horror movies and this shit is not okay.]

[ the little girl silently points up the hall, and then starts up that way, sticking a thumb in her mouth as she goes. syd glances at the others, raises her eyebrows and follows. ]

[Andrew heads in that direction as well, glancing around as he does, trying to keep an eye out for any surprises (spot 21)]

[Felicity follows the rest of the group, following Andrew's lead and keeping an eye out for any kind of trouble. The blood on the girl's dress isn't giving her good vibes. But she scans the area head of them and occasionally glances behind to make sure nothing's following them (spot 21).]
