WHO || Sydney B., Andrew, Diana, Felicity, Sebastian [Closed]
WHAT || The Knights investigate a hacker friend of Andrew's who has gone off the grid
WHERE || Essen, Germany

HOW || Actionspam. Single thread, don't worry about maintaining tagging order.
The flight to Essen is very short, only about half an hour, and Sydney makes good time flying them there. Wynn has a car already rented and waiting for them as usual and then it's a short drive to the coordinates Lady Nell sent them.
While the neighborhood in question was once a very nice residential development, it now shows decades of neglect. There is a squat, one-story storefront across from what appears to be a riot control vehicle that appears severely battered.

The second half of the trip, he makes his way up to the cock pit, needing to stretch his legs a bit. Knocking his knuckles against the doorway.]
Mind some company?

How are you holding up?

Wanted to thank you for coming. When Wynn said we could put a team together for this, you were one of the first I thought of.

How long have you known Alice?
no subject
A few years now. Started talking to her around when I started up with the Knights. [Which was after he was done with school, because he had resisted following in the family footsteps for a bit.]

That doesn't mean she's ignoring everyone, however. She'll chat if you're feeling chatty. The magazine she's reading is really not that interesting.]

Trying to see if I can find her in this mess. Gonna take a minute.

Yeah, that's good. She seems young enough that she probably wouldn't question it if the credentials were close enough.

her fighting soul ♔
the building sits glumly across from a dilapidated park that is more dirt than trees, looking for all the world like an odd collection of giant boxes. crumbling red brick walls match the rusting metal sheets that cover what once were walls of windows. gang symbols all but obscure the images of horses left over from years long gone.
strangely, all the lights seem to be on, leaking through the metal here and there (spot 15+ will see). looking at the place fills them all with a strange, chilling sense of foreboding that they can't shake without a good will save (15+) ]

Someone's in there. [Or he assumes they are. Abandoned places like they don't just leave the light on for you. This ain't no Motel 6, son.]
