The murder the Knights are sent to investigate took place in an abandoned warehouse, near the largest highway in London. The aging and dilapidated structure is covered with graffiti and bits of rusting metal.

Squad cars and emergency vehicles have surrounded the building. Outside the main entrance, police officers are questioning a small crowd of people when the Knights arrive.

Fred parks the car, and looks across through the passenger window.

"Must be the place. Let's roll."

[Someone should talk to Faye about spells that are actually helpful on missions. She doesn't have one to help with this. But she does have a flashlight app on her phone. She puts that shit on and holds it out to shine down the tunnel.]

[ as she shines her light down there, it's clear that there's a long main tunnel, which leads off into more darkness. the water inside is knee deep, and as fred moves in, it'd be clear that movement is both slow and noisy (moving inside reduces you to half speed). in the distance, a listen check of 10+ means that a low rush of water can be heard. ] C'mon.

[ after about a hundred yards, the tunnel begins to turn every fifty yards or so. a wisdom check of 15+ reveals that these jogs are directing the tunnel downhill, which is probably why the water sounds as though it's moving faster up ahead. there's also a serious undertow that picks up as they go, so they have to make a swim check (DC 15) to keep their head above water. sorry tdiddle but that DC is 20 for you. immediately after the first turn, fred looks like he's about to half trip and he manages to catch himself, bobbing along, but saying over his shoulder: ] The ground dropped out! Careful. [ there's about a ten foot pit that they have to cross, and they'll either have to make the swim check or make a reflex save 15+ otherwise u r drowning sry 2 say]

[TARADIDDLE MADE A NAT 20 SWIM CHECK. She's a fucking fish apparently.] It's not so bad!

[Faye follow after T-Diddle and... crit fails her swim check, which negates her ability to make a reflex save so apparently if she knew how to swim before the Veil, that knowledge was taken with the rest of her memories.

[Miles is right behind Faye, so when he sees her go down, he dives in after her. He's coming for you gurl, hoping to be able to grab hold of her and drag her to the surface.(swim 19, str 21)]

[ as miles drags faye up, fred dives in for astrid, yanking her with (str 18), and they all make it across the pit, and out of risk of sinking. ] Jesus. Everybody okay?

[she coughs up some water, feeling hella sexy rn.] This is so gross. Everything is horrible.

[ fred glances down the sewer, to where it cuts a sharp left ahead. ] I don't think it's gonna get any better, in terms of the sewer levels. [ he grimaces ] At this rate, we're going to have this fight on their terms... and it's gonna be fighting the tide the whole way. I don't think I like those odds, especially versus three of 'em, when we saw what just one did.

So what do we do? [T-diddle might've made the swim easily, but she's still grimacing at the muck.] Cause I'm assuming letting them go on their happy dinosaur way isn't gonna be the answer.
