I showed you the Round Table room, and how to get in. [ she makes a gesture with a hand. ] Only it wasn't you, obviously. She was pestering me about Wynn, and secrets, and why in the Mother's Name it was so tightly guarded.

I wouldn't worry about it much. You could hardly be expected to know that it wasn't me if we had never spoken before. Wynn doesn't blame anyone for not knowing. All we can do now is prepare for the next step.

It was the bloody Round Table room, any knight would know how to access it. You're kind, Myrilandel, but that is no fault but my own. I can only hope nothing of consequence was found in it.

If you're concerned, we may want to tell Wynn. Just to be certain. He'd want to know any areas of our work that may have been compromised.

Yes. Yes, you're right, of course. I'll handle it. [ she nods. ] You should get your rest, sweetling. Can I get anything for you?

No, I've been resting too much lately. That's why I was out here, just trying to stretch my legs a bit.

[ she gives another quick nod. she feels uncomfortable, realizing that she doesn't know what to say to her now. they'd gotten on so well at the party, but it hadn't been her at all. this myri seems different—of course she is, alanna realizes, because she's a different bloody person. still. ] I won't keep you any longer, then. [ she needs to figure it out, so she excuses herself. ] And I'm sorry for the confusion.

You're no bother. Really. [She gives her best attempt at a smile.] Perhaps I'll see you around.
