Now officially Knighted, Vi exchanges her ceremonial armor for a wedding gown, and the guests head into London to gather at the Chelsea Physic Garden.  The evening is warm and clear, and the flowers in full bloom, chairs set up on the main lawn with name tags on them for people to find their seat.  Gentle Elvish music plays everyone in, and at the front of stands an arbor covered in wisteria.  It's a remarkably peaceful setting, enough to dispel further some of the grimness of the past few days and create an atmosphere of smiles and warmth.    It seems to reinforce what Luthir has been telling Vi all along: that maybe now more than ever, this is the sort of thing they need, in order to remember what they're all fighting for.

[ she also has a feeling alex wouldn't bother. they had a very frank discussion, but them again, vi is a very frank sort of person. she makes frankness happen.

she leans in again for another brief kiss as the song ends before looping her arm through faye's to walk her off the dance floor and tradesies. ] And now you've kissed a girl. Yeah, sure. Whatever. [She's just going to be grumpy in waves tonight. But there's always the chance that a ginger transplant from the 60s can make her forget about it.]

I wasn't listening. [he shoves his phone into his pocket and leads her out onto the floor, though. his dancing is ... okay??? (dance 12) bless.]

[ she's a scosh better (dance 18) but she's all a majestic adorable monster, so. ] Girl has got it bad for you, sweetie.

Eh, she'll get over it. [WILL SHE, ALEXANDER???? will she?]

I didn't. [ and.... they're dancing.... at her wedding. she lifts her eyebrows, teasing smile on her lips. ]

I hope you mean your feelings for your brand new husband and not little ol' me.

Well, my feelings for you haven't changed either. You're still too attractive to be real. It's rude and you should stop. [ don't stop. all her friends are pretty, it's a trend. ]

[he wrinkles his nose like this is his dentist telling him he needs oral surgery or some shit.] I was really hoping she'd just get over it.

I know fucktons about girls, I had sisters. [sigh] I didn't realize how Swimfan she was for me until it was too late. I just ... really am not looking forward to this discussion. It was easier at home. You slept with someone once, the probability of seeing them ever again, let alone pretty much every fucking day was relatively low.

Yes, but no, I don't think she's going to shoot you, that reference got away from me. She doesn't strike me a completely batshit. She's kind of sweet in a temperamental teenage way. Very confused with which way you're swinging. But, like I said, sweet. She deserves to be let down easy, got it? [ gentle reminder that vi literally just met faye and is already 110% big sistering her like whoa. idk what kind of sistering she is doing to alex, it's a mystery. ]
