The first twenty-four hours of searching yielded no results, in the hunt for Elena and the escaped doppelganger Kyp.  Most consider it not worth keeping up the search when both of them are capable of vanishing into literally any crowd, but Wynn isn't so quick to give up.  To that end, he's hired monster hunter Dean Winchester to work with a special team in trying to track them down.  A few other Knights familiar with Elena are invited along to the mini briefing, where Wynn and Dean already wait.

I understand that in hunting down those creatures of Shadow who have caused considerable trouble for the human world, it may be difficult to keep in mind that Shadow species are as varied in their morals and motivations as humankind, but I will insist that for as long as you remain in our employ, you refrain from implying that any of my Knights are the same as those of dark intent you've ... dispatched so often before. This operation is two fold. We're looking to find Sir Gilbert and ensure her safe return to the castle, alive, and to stop the doppelganger Kyp from wandering freely. We know that he willingly aided our enemies against us, sent some of our own into the hands of those who tortured them, and funneled information about our operations to our foes in this very sensitive time. We cannot afford to allow this to continue. What that means, I'll leave up to your discretion.

[Helen is more focused on the Elena half of the mission, but there seem to be plenty of those at the table who are prepared to serve up a heaping portion of justice for Kyp, once they've found him. She's acutely aware that she's going to be the voice of reason here.]

[Archer grins, because he pretty much 100% agrees with Dean's vampire hate. He probably could have been swayed, but Spike hasn't exactly been a great vampire ambassador. However, the smug grin disappears when Wynn lays down the law.]

Wait... [Archer was doing pretty well paying attention... but a thought just crept into his head. His eyes begin to widen a bit, as he contemplates some horrific notion;] Do you... uh. Ya think they can dopple-pop themselves into uh... crocodiles?

Unfortunately, our attempts at scrying haven't even been able to turn up anything. We have, however, finally located the missing car they took. You'll be traveling with the hunter to investigate, and deferring to his judgment on how best to track them.

My game plan any time crocodile and/or alligator is a possibility includes high-powered rifles and shotguns. Fucking prehistoric monsters.

There aren't any crocodiles and/or alligators involved! Unless they hopped a plane and flew to crocodile and/or alligator country, they're somewhere posing as several someones, not crocodiles.

The vehicle was abandoned in a lot outside of London. You may bring whatever equipment you feel necessary - contact the Hoard or armory as needed.

Before you begin, is there anything you'd like to know about their capabilities, crocodiles aside?

Is there any way to block them from our mind or... mark ourselves in some way that they can't copy?

On a scale of one to ten, one being like Brett... Or was it Brent?... Anyway, one being Joe the plumber civilian - and ten being something like that damned Dragon-Worm-thing from Chicago - how tough will it be to put down Houdini?

From what Sir Gar has told me about her own research, it would take some training to succeed at keeping them out of one's thoughts at all times. Otherwise, markings may be a good idea, given that they can only copy what they can see. However, if they hear any of you thinking about such a mark, they could add it... You see the problem.

If it comes to force, you should find it fairly simple to actually overpower him. Identifying him properly is the tricky part. Doppelgangers are slightly stronger and faster than humans, but not as much, say, as a vampire. [ a nod to damon ] Elena's own abilities will be far below what Kyp is capable of, particularly given that Sir Gar believed she may be only part-doppelganger.
