The first twenty-four hours of searching yielded no results, in the hunt for Elena and the escaped doppelganger Kyp.  Most consider it not worth keeping up the search when both of them are capable of vanishing into literally any crowd, but Wynn isn't so quick to give up.  To that end, he's hired monster hunter Dean Winchester to work with a special team in trying to track them down.  A few other Knights familiar with Elena are invited along to the mini briefing, where Wynn and Dean already wait.

[Rose stays in the car for a few moments, watching the one Kyp and Elena would have used in the rearview mirror, features darkening.]

How are you at breaking into cars? [To Dean cause she's pretty sure Archer's idea of breaking in could involve the loud an obvious smashing of a window. (Wisdom 21).]

He's a little surprised Helen didn't jump right out and say, mother-daughter, etc (INT 18), he knows they should've appealed as more pleasant but worried. But she jumped right to "grave danger." So, that's what he's going to do. ] Because, the guy my sister was with is bad news. [ (bluff 22). ] Her name's Elena. She has straight brown hair. And she's missing.

the hotel clerk hesitates but finally says: "Look, I want to help you, you just have to tell me what you want here, and I'll do what I can. We really can't bother every customer." ]

[Assuming that Archer is keeping an eye out for movement which is probably a bad life choice Rose starts rifling through the glove compartment and other areas of the car (Search 18).]

If you can show us the list of names for who checked in within the time frame they likely arrived, perhaps we can sort out what name they might have used. [damon, shh. the grown ups are talking.] Would that be acceptable?

[ as the desk clerk turns to print out said list, dean and rose rifle through the interior of the car. the search is disappointing and it's pretty clear right away that it's going to be. dean doesn't do much more than glance under the seats, etc, while rose takes a more thorough route, checking between the seats, in the back, etc.

everything they find indicates that the car belonged to someone else, and rose's check is high enough to make sure she realizes that everything in there wasn't left by kyp or elena. dean slams the door shut in annoyance, turning to look towards the building.

[ Their picture was taken together looking like themselves when they checked in. Wasn't it? Or... was it just a traffic camera. Because his 1 INT check means he's completely fucking forgotten if that happened. And there are zero mental notes here. ]
