Or so no one else can catch on to what she's saying. [He smirks.] It's a good con tactic. Less suspicious than code and it makes people uncomfortable so they'll clear the room.

Um, well, she wasn't trying to clear the room. She was telling me about traffic. So. Oh!! [she runs over to a different cabinet and fishes out two little blister packs of drugs.] Here's antibiotics, in case your injury gets infected, and diphenhydramine, in case you have an allergic reaction. Um, Benadryl. Although I don't think it's going to happen at this point, but Benadryl's great to have on hand anyway. Good sleep aid.

To be fair, not having to worry about this shit for... four thousand years tends to throw you off.] That's a lot of bullshit for a scrape. [God, mortality is so exhausting, but he takes her proffered meds anyway.]
