[Finding Frankie around the Castle isn't exactly a difficult thing to do. Most of her time is spent in the garage, even when she isn't working on something specific because it's the one place where she feels completely at ease, like she's home here rather than a transfer Knight and today is one of those days when all the dirty work is done and she can be found at a desk in the corner of the garage, watching videos on youtube because that's what Knights do when they procrastinate okay.]

[Why is Willow in the garage? Well... even she doesn't really know. It's part of the castle and she's still learning where everything is. So have a lost looking ginger meandering through the garage.

She bumps into a table and sends a wrench clattering to the ground. Off to a great start.]

[The look on Frankie's face when her eyes fall on Willow standing in the middle of the garage?

Lost? [Barely containing the grin that pulls at the corner of her mouth as she moves from behind the desk.]

Don't worry - [Bending to gather up the wrench and spinning it in her hand (Dex 22... showoff)] Most of the tools around here take some pretty intense abuse. usually from me.

That obvious, huh? [Willow looks a little sheepish, but exactly ashamed.]

So are you the... castle mechanic or something?

[She opens her mouth, like maybe she's going to console her with an; 'oh no, really! not at all' and then just, nods.]

Yeah. But don't take that in a bad way.

[Offering up a half grin.]

Yeah, something like that. Some people here are good with knives, me it's cars. [Setting said wrench down and this time, further away from the edge of the table. Learner right here.]

And you would be new? Newly returned? .... Been here for months and I haven't seen you before because I'm usually down here?

I'm still pretty new. Just got squired this month. I was still... learning my way around the castle.

This month? [Eyebrows raising.] You ah - [She chuckles, shaking her head.] Picked an interesting time to join up. [To think, this was before the war was even announced.] Things have been getting, kind of hectic around here over the past few months.

[Words that are not comforting for new people for 100 thanks Alex...

Which she realizes and changes her tune a little.]

Still, welcome and all that. [Offering a hand.] I'm Frankie - well, Francesca but that one stays between us. [Grinning.]

Willow. [She gives her name in return, shaking her hand.] Nice to meet you, Frankie. And your secret's safe with me.

Among other things. [Grinning wryly.] But mostly cars. I'd tell you it's more glamorous than it is but? Not so much.

[She could crap on about cars forever but one, that's boring for people who don't like cars and two, her mun doesn't really know much about cars and googling is hard or something.]

And you? I'm thinking not cars but, I'm guessing you have a thing? Possibly many things?

Books, mostly. And computers. But... not quite the ones here. I'm still kinda... catching up there.

Oh! Also demons! [Most people probably don't look... so happy about that.]

[ you know what you're never going to see, frankie? lila without heels. even when the small blonde is crouched next of a black mercedes muttering to herself as she tries to loosen the lug nuts on the flat tire to replace it. she's kind of struggling (str ...2), which seems to further her annoyance because she is a big girl! she can change her own flipping tires! but no. no apparently she can't and she winds up standing up and kicking the car. which is basically her baby. ] Argh!

[Frankie had been watching Lila from the cover of her screen, something close to a mildly amused grin playing across her lips as she'd debated offering to help but hadn't decided if this was one of those 'I can totally do this shit myself' kind of deals.

Until you know. The car abuse.]

Oh - woah wooooah. [She's out from behind that computer in no time flat, her tone at least not harsh, more playfully chastising.]

Just - step away from the car. [Hands up, like she's talking down somebody who is about to murder another person. Look in Frankie land? Beating up a poor defenseless Mercedes is kind of on the same level.]

There's got to be a tool for this. [ she motions to the wheel with the tire iron, not stepping away from the car. ] How the hell are normal people supposed to get those off!

[ she's grumpy bc she's weak, mouth curving down into a petulant pout. ]

[With her lips pressed together, Frankie's just going to step forward and hold out her hand to receive the tyre iron.]

When stuck on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere? These are... all the craze. But I'm gonna let you in on a little tip...

Around here? We go electric. [Nodding towards a wall of power tools and among them would be, an electric impact wrench AKA... The tool that makes this shit easy.]

[ lila looks a little bit like she doesn't want to pass it over buuuuuuuuut she does. regrettably. ] But if I'm on the side of the road I won't have that.

If you're on the side of the road? You hope like hell you charged your phone. Roadside assistance is your friend. Alternatively, you just call me.

Or. I could do it myself. [ and she can, which is why she is frustrated. she is capable, just not... strong enough. ]

[Han spends enough time in the garage that she's probably seen him a few times, working on the motorcycle he's taken apart and put together a few dozen times. The taking apart isn't always intentional, but things have a tendency to, well, explode when you give them an engine more powerful than it's supposed to have and experimental flying parts that aren't strictly legal or safe.

When he walks in, he's covered in stains, tugging off work gloves and using them to wipe his face. Which doesn't make him cleaner, though he is slightly less sweaty.]

Those still ain't as good as holovids.

Holo-huh? [Confusion, comically etched across her features as she raises her eyes from the computer, a flicker of recognition in them as she spots Han.]

Is this a British thing, an American thing or a whole other thing?

[Blinkedy blink.] I'm just going to chalk that one up to the Veil. It's that or bad geography.

It ain't bad geography. Corellia's a different planet. And probably a trip through the veil away too, I don't know.

[She opens her mouth to respond and just shakes her head, tone dry as she replies.]

Nothing actually surprises me anymore. [King Arthur is in the Castle. It's hard to be surprised after that.] Do they have cars on Corellia?

Sure, in museums. We mostly use speeders and ships. [A beat, then slowly, like he's talking to a child.] You know, vehicles that fly.
