A lot of them avoid human social circles. [When they're not... hungry...] There's a lot of fear and mistrust... on both sides, of course! But it's much harder for many orcs to hide their shadowkind status, so some of them tend to, well, stay in the shadows.

I wasn't referring to myself! [She actually looks a little affronted about that one.] I was giving a possible reason for why many orcs and orc-blooded humanoids might choose to stay hidden, but not all of us are the same anymore than all humans are the same. I've never avoided human circles myself, and I was in an organization much like this one before I even came to this world.
